Had a $45 bonus on my rebatesme account ********************* Place an order through a rebatesme link with Temu that was supposed to credit me 11% cash back. Order hasn't been acknowledged so no cash back and the bonus has expired.Business response

Hi, I have a balance of $5.5 payable, it turns out that I will no longer use Rebatesme, and knowing that this balance that belongs to me could be consumed by maintenance fees until then, or even my account be deleted due to inactivity, I myself request that delete my account, but send the balance through paypal to the same email as the account *************************** and then, I ask you to delete this once and for all. Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.They went ahead and added the expired sign-up bonus to my account, now I can withdraw it for the normal amount of $10 without any issues. I appreciate the help and resolved the issue quickly. They are indeed a reliable service, I will consider using their services more often, Thank you.

I opened a rebatesme account with a legitimate referral link for a $40 sign-up Bonus on 2/29/2024. I verified my account and placed two orders on 3/1/2024 and 3/3/2024 to achieve the $10 minimum to qualify for the sign-up bonus. These orders were placed in ******************* and Converse, which earned me $9.92 and $1.16, respectively. On 3/21/2024, I received an email from rebatesme informing me that they had closed/suspended my account due to the following reasons: Fraud Orders, Violating the merchant terms, and detected unusual account activity. I didn't return these orders, nor did I do anything stated on the reason why rebatesme closed my accounts. I missed the email from rebatesme on 03/21/2024, but once I realized they had closed my account and wiped out essentially $51.08 ($40, $9.92, and $1.16) that I earned, I emailed rebatesme on 04/14/2024. However, I didn't receive a reply. I read many comments that this company tends to close member accounts when they are about to reach the payout stage.Business response

I placed an order on Temu and used the Rebates Me plug in to receive 18%/25% cash back. I have used Rakuten in the past, and would have used Rakuten if I had known how slow and unreliable RebatesMe is. I made the purchase on 01/03/24 as shown in the attached purchase receipts. The RebatesMe plugin was definitely turned on. I received the items over 2 weeks ago, so the purchase should certainly be confirmed by now. I contacted the Rebatesme customers service through email with case number ***** a few days ago but nothing happened since then. I don't know why I have to track down and beg the company for them to pay me what I am owed. The total purchase price is $73.28 +$6.96 (tax) with PO number PO-211-*****************Business response

Our customer service team responded to your emails on 2/1/24. In thoes emails they explained that we've started the Missing Cash Back Inquiry for you and sent the inquiry to the merchant. This company does not provide contact information. I need to close my account, but there is no contact info on their website. If I cannot close my account, they will, and will continue to take $1.99 maintenance fees from me. How am *** close my account if they do not provide the proper information I need? I followed the the inhstruction that RebatesMe and I got the first attachment. So I clicked onto the "Contact Us" and got the 2nd attachment, which is the same website I had already seen when I filed the original complaint with the BBB. Instead of a solution, all they have done is give me the "old run-around." WHat the heck is their problem? Am I doomed to keep this account, pay the maintenance fees for the rest of my life? I suggest they contact me directly with a call.Business response

It's been 10 days since the inquiry was initiated, and we kindly request your patience as the merchant thoroughly reviews your order. I am rejecting this response because: I completed the purchase 20 days ago. I also provided a purchase confirmation email from the vendor. I am currently wearing a pair of contacts that I purchased. What else is required to confirm the purchase? This seems like a shady business practice by which RebatesMe attempts to lure in customers with higher stated reimbursement rates when they have no intention of actually paying the stated rate. And if the customer does not reach out and involve an authority in the matter, they would get away with it. Knowing that this is how RebatesMe operates, I cannot in good faith recommend the platform to anybody else and will not be using it again in the future.

My Rebatesme account (email: ************************** has been suspended. There is approximately a few hundred dollars in my account, but I am unable to log in. I implore them to re-examine the suspension of my account and refund the legitimate cashback balance. This is my own private account.The inconsistency in Rebatesme's actions has left me perplexed. They seem to offer substantial cashback incentives to attract shoppers to use their links for purchases, but subsequently, they block accounts and withhold the cashback. This has raised concerns about the company's business practices and their commitment to their promises.My determination to seek the return of my cashback is driven by a friend of mine facing a similar issue with Rebatesme. I booked a hotel stay on booking.com on 08SEP2022 with rebate linked through rebates.com (4% cash back), and completed the travel in July 2023. This transaction is marked in my account as pending investigation with a note 'Cashback will be updated to your account with 3 months after travel has been completed'. Since 3 months had passed and I didn't receive the cash back, I have contacted their customer service multiple times via their website's Feedback feature, but there was no response from the company at all.
