June 29th, 2022 I was talked into using Its Just Lunchs services and near as soon as I hung up I wanted to take it back. Panic attacks set in as the thought of having a date or a man in my home literally terrified me. June 30th I asked for my money back from **** and was put off. July 1st I again asked for a refund from **** the manager who insisted I put my account on hold. I called again over the weekend and emailed **** Saturday the 2nd telling him I wasnt going to change my mind and would like a refund. I called again Tuesday the 5th and was passed around to several people who all said no, one of them even laughed at me saying there was no way Id get a refund. I have felt shamed by them for not wanting to pursue dating, being laughed at and told it was my fault for letting them charge me. It has been humiliating and I have called, emailed, and now complained to the BBB. $2450 is what I am seeking for refund in full. I have not used their business and I do not want to. They are argumentative and this whole thing has stressed me out and triggered panic attacks. I am so hoping youre able to help me get this resolved and help me get my money back. It's Just lunch regrets to learn the consumer has not enjoyed her experience thus far. Dating is an emotional journey and we are here to support our clients every step of the way. The consumer joined June 29th, was welcomed by her matchmaker on July 6th via a face-to-face video call and declined to meet the first two dates IJL presented to her. One was based on body type of the date, and the other on the photos provided to IJL by the date we had in mind for her. We take her feedback into consideration with each date and fine tune the matchmaking process from there. The client has placed her membership on hold since she is not open to dating at this time, which is a benefit of her membership, and has up to 6 months of hold time to utilize on her membership. She is actively using the membership.IJL has and can continue to provide the services as outlined in the membership agreement and a refund is not appropriate. We look forward to when the consumer is ready to date as we have great dates we would love to introduce her to.Customer response

We are sorry to hear the consumer is not happy with the decision she made to purchase the membership. She did enter into the agreement willingly and executed the agreement which is clear on the terms of the Membership. We did provide the ***************** hold time to allow her the time to prepare to date. Thank you.
