I visited Dr. ***** on January 17, 2023. I called and scheduled the appointment for a preventative annual exam, a wellness exam. when i schedule the appt, that's what I asked for, and that's what it felt like i received in the ~15 mins i spent with the doctor. During the visit, the doctor asked about family history, and I mentioned one thing to her. The bill i received was diagnostic- not what I asked for, and when I called billing they said it was a diagnostic visit on their end- and even it wasn't, because I answered the question she asked, it should be billed as an office visit - which would cost the same. So either I am being billed incorrectly for what I scheduled the visit to be, or she's charging me for answering a question she asked in the appointment, without telling me that answering that question would cost. this feels like very unfair and unethical billing practices.Business response

Hi I'm emailing about case #********. This has not been resolved yet. The business replied to the BBB that "This issue has been researched and resolved, we apologize for any inconvenience." But I have not received any communication from the business about what that resolution was. As far as I know, nothing has changed. Can they provide a more detailed update to how it was resolved?

Good news- they never reached out to me, but I just received the most recent bill, and it's been edited and adjusted. Thank you for your help- I feel good with the resolution and can move on!
