Our marlette home was manufactured in 2006 . Its a 2 bedroom small one bath manufactured STRAIGHT house like a trailer .. This home sat for about 5 years without people living in it fulltime my grandmother came maybe every summer and stayed a week each time for those first five years . House seemed fine when nobody was there regular functions would be engaged as to keep home from any damage to not using them such as heat etc. First issue discovered was cold air when it should be heat . That was a fortune it still doesnt work correctly and my **** HIGH so high its sad . SECOND issue My whole entire right side of my home is BOWED out and I have such extreme water damage from the siding and roofing being done wrong or with defective materials . When it rains outside it rains in my house !!! All the windows are green inside from the rot of the damage . THE inside hardware such as door handles JUST FELL OFF as well as almost every cupboard door . The plumbing materials used also GARBAGE has had to be replaced as its burst from poor material and blew and wasnt during winter either in the wall to the washing machine unit hookups HUGE PROBLEM and not to mention the constant headache and physical issues Ive had from their Formaldehyde they use in the materials which is a lot im guessing since I work hospital and visit the **** lab often and they use nothing but Formaldehyde so the smell VERY distinct im not sure what to do I was told after calling marlette that home records past ten years arent kept and the issues would be past warranty and I couldnt be helped to have it resolved due to this . I literally dont know what to do the home was passed down and its all I have and as a single lady with no kids I do my best but this is beyond my abilitys financially and physically and im scared to stay in my home its going to cave in and every night I sleep I think I hope tonight I dont die from my house caving in !! I just want my small home to live in and be safe !
