On August 29, 2022, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of consumer complaints filed against NW Makeup & Hair regarding customer service and refunds. Consumers allege to have placed deposits or had paid in full for wedding hairstyle and makeup services. After the initial communication, consumers have had difficulty communicating with NW Makeup & Hair. Consumers allege that the business owner emailed them to apologize for not being able to fulfill their contracts, explained her current hardship, and informed them NW Makeup & Hair was going to be sold, but the sale ultimately failed, making her situation worse. Additionally, consumers claim that NW Makeup & Hair offered full refunds and explained it would take some time for them to come through. However, the business owner stopped responding a couple of weeks after the email regarding the possible refund was sent.
On August 29, 2022, BBB submitted a written request to NW Makeup & Hair encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. As of today, BBB has had no response.
