      Was working a cash deal from 4 hours away on a weekend. First, they pulled my active duty military sons credit which is 730 - they said "we could get it approved but it might take a while." I then said, " I will just pay cash." I When I could not get there until Monday, Carson called to tell me I could apply for credit AND then he would take a $2000 via a debit card." He said "text me after you've sent, so I can hold it." 5, 10, 15 min later, I called him and another dude intercepted and said the car was sold to the man in the yellow hat. I demanded to speak to Carson who obliged my request and took the call. He stated he never such a thing. He stated he never said that applying would hold the car. He said "Sorry the world didn't spin your way." He also said. "we didn't pull your credit." He pulled my 795 credit because immediately after applying I got alerts from Equifax, Discover and Credit Karma telling me my credit was pulled. Oh, AND Carson also said, "I never told you what you thought you heard - my calls are recorded. " I said "then I want to hear them." To the owner of this racket, PLEASE DO LISTEN TO THE CALL, if it true what he said.

      Hello ***** - I appreciate you reaching out. I did speak with the Sales Manager initially involved (Lance P******) and did some fact finding to fully understand what happened. I do show you submitted a credit application but I do not show a credit pull for you. I do show a credit pull for your son and while the credit was a bit lower than you have listed, we were able to secure an approval. I am happy to provide you with copies of what we have on file for you and your son. I know our team agreed to hold the vehicle for you until the end of the day of your inquiry. We typically do not offer to do this but an exception was made by Lance. He personally stayed past 8pm and finally heard from you to learn that you had only made it to Hood River by that time. You stated you would be in first thing in the morning and we finally heard from you at 1pm that you were still not going to arrive, so a decision was made to allow another customer to purchase the vehicle. I know this was not the desired outcome as you had high interest in the vehicle but we are a business with guidelines to follow and had to move forward accordingly. I do want to apologize for the conversation you had with Carson. We do record incoming calls for quality assurance and regardless of the outcome you should've been communicated with in a kind manner that provided a thorough explanation.       Slogan should be "dick says yes, BUT will ask for the car back 3 weeks later." Before I came in, I double checked to make sure I would be approved and could leave with a car (attached pictures of one of the conversations). I came in and filled out the paperwork, and looked at the car. Was told that I had gotten approved by a bank and could leave with the car. Sounds good, right? Two weeks later, I call them to get info on making my payment so I could pay ahead. They don't have any info yet and say that it hasn't processed yet. Sounded reasonable. Until 4 days ago when they said they couldn't work with me unless I have a cosigner (which I dont cause I am an Oregon transplant and it was stated in the beginning that I didn't need one). Now, they gave me a two day notice to return the car. Basically leaving me out of luck. I return the car tomorrow and can't wait to see them come up with a dumb excuse to not give me my full down payment back (I wouldn't expect any less from them at this point.)

When the lender called your employer to verify the information provided, they were not provided with the same information as you listed on your credit application. This is also extremely frustrating for us because our livelihood is helping our customers get and stay in their vehicle's. I can assure you that we went above and beyond to try and get exceptions made for you as we empathize for your situation and there is no benefit for us having you return the vehicle.
