I joined Fitness 1440 in December 2022 and paid $600 for a year's membership. In April, I went to the gym and the doors were locked and all the equipment was gone. I received no notice that the gym was closing. I would like to receive a refund for the 8 months that I paid for. Do I have any recourse?Initial Complaint

I both called and emailed my gym location to have my account closed as I was no longer going to use the gym. Nobody answered when I called by phone, and I never received a response to my email. They continue to attempt to charge my account for a gym I haven't used in close to if not over one year at this point, and despite my request to have my account closed. I have had to submit multiple stop payment requests to my bank to prevent them from charging my account for a membership I have requested multiple times to have cancelled. They should be able to easily see by my accounts access card records that I have not used the gym at all since requesting my account closure.Initial Complaint

On January 11th, 2021 I went to the 1440 Redmond Fitness webiste and told them I wanted to cancel my membership. I had been trying to call them and there was never an answer. They continue to take money out of my account. In March and now in April, they have taken it out twice and I still have not received anything from them and I continue to call but no answer.
