      This company is a scam. They don't resolved any issue you have with parts you order. I have sent 3 emails and no response. I order a spa pump impeller and never got it. There is no shipping date on my profile. But the sure did charge my card. Don't do any business with spa care.

      I ordered what was supposed to be a Balboa heating element. It is listed as such on their website. I received a universal heating element. I could have bought a universal one MUCH cheaper elsewhere. I was willing to spend the extra money on the name brand known for quality. There's even a review on the product saying to buy the Balboa for the extra cost because it's worth it. The day I received it I sent them an email stating that I felt mislead, especially with the review. Asked them to update their description to accurately reflect what the product is and to remove the misleading review. To this date, approximately 3 weeks after the email, no response and nothing has changed. I did however receive an email from them a few days ago asking me to review the product. I was just going to let it go, but since they asked I did. The review was basically what I have stated here and magically never appeared under the product review. This place is SHAAAAAAADY!

      Recently reached out to Spa Care for a replacement for my discontinued spa pimp that went bad. Customer Service was very quick to respond with the current replacement and provided a link for easy ordering. I immediately went onto the website and placed my order, paid by credit card, and got an e mail response confirming the order. Now four days later, I have tried to call the organization looking for shipment details, only to get an automated message and no way to talk to anyone. I have sent multiple follow up e mails through the website as well as direct through personal emails accounts, with no response. As of now, I have a confirmation, no tracking, no update, and no way of knowing if we will be able to get our spa fixed or not with this organization. This is probably some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lesson learned, make sure you can call and talk to someone for future orders with an online company. I would not recommend Spa Care Center for your needs.

      I'm sorry that you had to write all this out, it was not our intention to give you the worst customer service you have ever experienced. You said you sent Five emails and we never responded, as I mentioned in the email reply email back to you. We only received one email from you and that was asking for tracking, I looked in every folder and on the server and couldn't find any. I did notice that when we did finally did connect that you were using two different email address's Im not sure exactly what happened, I apologize for your awful experience.

      I owe you a huge thank you for all your expert, kind and patient help getting my completely dead hot tub going again! Today I checked it and after months of working on it with your help I, an older woman with arthritis and no experience working on spas, have been able to replace circuit board and pump and fix leaks and it's running like a top!!!! I am so grateful for spa cares reasonably priced parts and David's oh so patient advice and help. Even on weekends I always got a quick response with careful patient explanations. As a woman I can't tell you how much I appreciate never once being told I couldn't do this myself, should hire a spa company or get a man to help me. Not an impatient word once though I am quite certain some of my questions were plenty dumb. Tomorrow I will have my first soak in a year-- my back thanks you! Best, Nan

      I ordered a heater assembly and after install the electrician determine the part didn't work. Contacted SpaCare customer service about a return/replacement. They were quick to send a fedex label so I could send it back to be checked out. What I later realized was it was NOT sent back t spacare in Oklahoma, but to an address in Corona CA. After several week with no response I contact SpaCare and I was then told "we tested it and determined it is not covered under warranty to be replaced." I asked to speak with the person who tested it. SpaCare told me they sent it to Balboa Water Group. I contacted Balboa and was told they never received anything from SpaCare. I have many emails from SpaCare that says it was sent to the main headquarters, but when I pointed out that the fedex label showed it was sent to Corona CA, and the main headquarters are located in Santa Ana, CA. Also Balboa advised me to ask for the RMA number which is required for all items sent to be tested. SpaCare refused to give me a RMA number. I finally determined that SpaCare sent my part to a distributor call Hydroquip. I contacted Hydroquip and they refused to speak with me and told me to contact SpaCare. I finally left a message at Hydroquip stating that they had my part, that I paid for, in their possession without my permission and I demanded my part back. After 2 months of dealing with this, I finally got my part from Hydroquip- even though SpaCare told me in an email it was sent to Balboa (SPACARE FLAT OUT LIED TO ME!!!)

      ********************** - you have no idea what you are talking - and frankly what you are saying is 100% false - we went above and beyond for you jumping all the hoops you asked us to. The heater you returned was confirmed by our in house techs that it was not a manufacturers defect and was explained to you how the failure happened - You were not satisfied with this answer and ask us to send it to the manufacture which we did, they came back with the same results.YOU HAVE ISSUES AT YOUR END - IF YOU DON'T FIX WHAT WE SUGGESTED YOU WILL BE RIGHT BACK WHERE YOU STARTED FROM - Here is the reminder email - Good Luck -----The heater has been checked out as mentioned, the heater manifold got extremely hot.You can see that *************** shrunk on the manifold due to the excessive heat This is almost always caused by the heater relay sticking closed on the main circuit board, sending power to the heater AFTER the pump shuts off. OR, the filter is very dirty, restricting water flow through the heater. You need to look at the circuit board, if you install a new heater it will do the exact same thing.---- once you realize that the heater was not the problem you may want to come back and change this review which is not accurate

      My heater assembly was NOT checked by your in house because you had me send it to ********* in ****** **. I have the ***** label to prove this. In fact ********* in ****** ** mailed it back to me last week. If you want to prove you sent it to BALBOA (the manufacturer) please provide the *** number which is required to send anything to the manufacturer. My circuit board has been check by a certified electrician- fuses and relay are working proper, no burn marks on it, etc. By the way, your email to me said the heater over heated due to no or low water flow. NOW you are saying it is because of my circuit board? Balboa has been a delight to work with. I sent Balboa my heater (with the *** number they provided for all returns) and after checking out my heater and speaking with my electrician, they are sending a new heater.

      Again the information you are providing is 100% inaccurate - Balboa does not deal with end users in any form or fashion. They will not be sending you a heater. They work through distributors which in this case was Hydro Quip.

      I have ordered ***** for my Spa from ********. When I received the ***** I found out the part will not fit. I send all of them back. The parts were never used or opened. I had paid $114.30 for the parts shipping not included. I received back $91.44. I contacted the Company by E-mail 3 times for information about the rest of the money ($22.86). Also I left 2 Messages for someone to call me back. No luck. I will never order from this Company again. Mrs ********
