To be clear, my first complaint was to the Dental Office in 2010. They charged me (and I paid) for services as "out of network" when I was not out of network. When I complained about this they revised & corrected their error & charged me as in network. The insurance company paid the in network benefits and they kept what I'd over paid. I complained to numerous people, (my dentist, the owner, and the dental hygienists) but it was never resolved. I recently called the office (2022) and spoke with Michelle. I told her of the issues I have with the office related to the above. She said she would check and get back with me. She did not get back with me, but did tell me when I called back that she found they did over charge me, but now it's too late, because they have changed owners. She went on to say that she has since discovered a second error & they now owe me a second refund from October, 2021. She continues to give me excuses as to why I have not received the refund. I now recognize this is a pattern of behavior with this office. I have been told the dentist has to request this refund check and it will come from the accountant. This office owes me in excess of of four hundred dollars, I have been more than patient and need your help. Please help.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** and find that there is no way for me to simply accept or reject the response.1. I find it ironic that this is a separate business from *******************, when they are using the same business name, street address, and office. Previously when I asked ******** if ************* is still associated with this business, she initially said no. After further probing, she said yes with some long "BS" rationalization for how and why he is still associated with the current business.2. As for me depositing the check promptly, I certainly did, what else was I supposed to do with it? It has been owed to me since October 2021. I again find it ironic that the check became available to me the very day (7/22/22) I called and asked ******** for her last name, because I was filing a complaint with the BBB. She called me back shortly (within the hour) and asked if I wanted to have her mail the check or pick it up. I asked her when she received the check, she said, "just today (7/22/22)." However, the date the check was written was July 12, 2022, and was signed by ******************, although ************** told me this was coming from their accountant.3. As to the three hundred plus dollars owed to me by *************************** office, this matter was addressed for years with the office and even as recent as 2022 with ***************************. She acknowledged she reviewed my records and found the discrepancy. She said it was too late for me to receive that money because of the change of owners even though she also admits ************** is still somehow associated with this business. ****************** wrote "whatever the customer's complaint in 2010 should have been resolved." I agree, it could and should have been resolved but it is not. I have talked with numerous people in this office about this matter and have been more than patient. To date it is not resolved.
