I had a scheduled appointment on 5/1/24 at 8:30am. I confirmed my appointment a couple of days prior. When I came in this morning at 8:15 am I was told they would not see me for canceling appointments in the past. I said *** followed the rule on calling to reschedule twice. I called at least 48 hours prior to my appts. They stated its at least 24 hours. I explained thats why Ive called 48 hours in advance. I was wanting to establish here but its unfortanate to have to miss a couple of hours of work just to come in and be told I will not be seen.

And my teeth were fine except for one tooth, then they decided they were gonna pull all my teeth. And they were supposed to give me partials and a filling, then he starts drilling a hole in my teeth and fills it only to discover after that sooner care wont pay for partials now they wanna pull all my bottom teeth and Im left with pain in the tooth that they drilled into and apparently I have all cavities even though everyone else thinks they look fine.

My dentures where provided by *********** **************** When I got the dentures there was suppose to be 3 soft relines and 1 hard reline. *********** didn't reenroll me on insurance, so when I went back in to have my dentures relined they wanted me to pay them $80 for it. I felt like since my insurance paid that I shouldn't have to pay $80 for a reline. That was part of the dentures. So do they have insurance pay for dentures and the relines then have patients pay again? The lady who came in the room was very very rude!!!! Oh and by the way they pulled out ***** teeth. So now I have NO teeth at all and cant wear those dentures. Way to go Dental Depo on 23rd St ***, **

On 12/27/2023 i came to Dental Depot on 104th street for a routine cleaning and exam. i was happy with my treatment at the office and provided my insurance and confirmed that the visit was covered by insurance with no copay. I am covered for 2 visits a year by my insurance plan. i have received in the mail an EOB from the insurance that details the procedure codes and what was done. one thing that was not covered was the "Topical application of fluroide". I didn't understand what this is so i looked it up and this treatment is given to children who are growing up. i am 30 years old so i don't think i needed this treatment and don't understand why i was giving this unnecessarily. I wanted my visit to be covered by insurance and I confirmed that it was. I dont know why the personnel gave me a treatment that was for children and now they expect me to pay for it. I believe this is deceptive and is a way for the business to make more money by doing unnecessary things to make more money.

On 12/16/2023 I went to Dental Depot on ****** in *************, to have a root canal performed. The company provided me with an estimate for dental work and explained to me this would be the estimated cost of the root canal, being performed that day, and the crowns that would be completed, at a later date. I paid for my first visit, the amount of $305.85. I then received an explanation of benefits from my insurance company (Delta Dental), stating my total responsibility to the dentist was $138.20. On 01/05/2024 I returned to have the remainder of my treatment completed. I brought their original estimate and the explanation of benefits with me to show I was owed a refund of $167.65. Dental Depot told me that the amount billed to insurance was only half of the treatment cost and that I still owed another payment of $305.85. There is nothing in the original Estimate for Dental Work, stating the $1,558 was only for the first half of the treatment and that I would have my insurance billed a second time. It states Crowns/Bridges 3 Root Canals 3 and then Estimated Treatment Cost. At the time of my first visit, when I signed this contract, I was told this was the total cost of my treatment for the root canal and crowns. I'm not concerned about getting the $167.65 back. I do want Dental Depot to have to finish the remainder of the treatment plan, without having to pay another copay that I was never told at the beginning of the treatment plan, they would be billing my insurance for.

Dental depot in November 2023 charged me for services on the Alphoen Dental credit, I never received services and took two months for them to give me the credit. I still have not received the credit, and I have been charged interest in the late fee and then turned into the credit bureau. I would like a full refund and the interest and late fee paid for by dental depot, it was their mistake

Dental Depot dismissed Me as a patient without 90-day notice required BY law by the ******** *************** of ********** This location has threatened and given bad reviews prolonging my need for dental work paid in full at Dental Depot that was required to be fixed at $400 out of pocket which was Dental Depot's responsibility. I was unable to find a new dentist to fix the front broken tooth due to not receiving 90-day notice. These actions caused me to go without dental care for more than 4 months which incurred a bill for $60 co-pay and ****** to repair the tooth responsible by **************.

On 1/19/2023 I had dental work done at Dental Depot in *****, **.They told me my portion was $460, even though that seemed very high for the kind of work I had done. They were insistent that is what I owed so I paid them. About 1 month later I got my EOB from my insurance, and I was right from the start, they severely overcharged me. They never reached out to me, they waited for me to call & bring it up and they told me they would leave a credit on my account. I was offended that they thought I would leave my hard earned money just sitting there to be used, when they overcharged me to begin with. I told them I wanted it refunded, they told me corporate had to approve it. I called corporate several times, but never spoke to a person, I had to leave messages. After months and months of reaching out they finally told me the refund was approved, but now I had to call the ***** office again. I called the ***** office and they got my card number to issue the refund. I wanted to be nice and give them a little more time to process it, but 3 more weeks have gone by! I called ***** office again today and they told me that it just got approved yesterday and they are going to refund it today. I have been very patient until this point, but I have had enough. It has been 8 months of back and forth and I am getting close to taking legal action at this point if it does not get resolved within the next week.

Dear ************, thank you for reaching out to Dental Depot with your concerns regarding your recent visit to our *****, **, location. We have reviewed your complaint with the office and completed our internal investigation. The original treatment plan had an error and the patient was overcharged $460.00 for two fillings. Insurance paid and closed the claims on March 20, 2023. We documented contact (notated June 12, 2023) regarding this claim, and our *************** Services Manager investigated and made note of true credit on the account. The office manager then called to get additional information from the patient on June 15th, 2023, and left a voicemail. Our call was returned in the beginning of August and the refund was approved and issued on August 15, 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with our office and appreciate you bringing this to our attention and providing us with the opportunity to resolve it. I went to Dental Depot for teeth extraction and got cross contaminated. I had also had total hip replacement 3 months prior, which the dentist knew about refused to pre medicate me. The dentist nor his assistant not one time washed there hands or changed gloves upon entering the room. He also pulled teeth that were not to be pulled. And after extraction he filed down the dentures and never rinsed off before putting in my mouth. I ran 103 temp that weekend had to go to the er twice. I walked in his office Monday morning and was told to never just walk in and my 103 temp was the healing process. The dentures he gave me weren't even mine. I know have to wear a mask every where I go due to no teeth. And dealing with a possibility of an abscess settling in my hip due to cross contamination and him not giving antibiotics. I have filed a complaint with the state board of dentistry. And I called dental depot corporate office and they just blew me off.

I went to dental depot in November 2022 to get some teeth removed and get dentures. I was told I needed to save teeth and to get partials. I decided to do this trusting that the dentist knew best. I had my oral surgery had my partials put in. Was never given directions on how to take care of them nor was I told about bone chips that could be left in my jaw. I have not been able to wear my bottom partial since I cant I went in to dental depot to tell them about my concern with my bottom partial, and the bone spur that I had in my jaw which now I have two I was told to take a Pair of tweezers and try to work it out. I was left with 4+ cavities in my mouth. I also got partials that have metal in them and now have a metal taste in my mouth and was told that that is just the way that it is since I have *********** , that is all they will pay for. I would just like this problem resolved. Im not sure how to go about that. I do not trust this company and my *********** runs out at the end of May and would like to get this taken care of before then . I feel like this company was extremely unprofessional. The dentist was extremely rude. I believe her name was ********** and I was treated like I was beneath other people because I had **********. I feel like I got a lesser quality of care because of the type of insurance I have.
