Attached is communication I made with AllPro Roofing and Remodeling. I asked the company for a quote/proposal for a new roof. When the roofing consultant got to my house he offered to come on the day my adjuster would be there, I agreed. However further into the process I decided to use a different roofing company for my needs. AllPro had never provided me with a figure related to how much a new roof with them would cost. They then sent me two invoices for work I did not ask for or authorize; and certainly did not authorize for the amount they want to charge. Had they been honest in their intent to charge me I would not have accepted. I feel as if they were deceptive in their intent in addition to retaliated against for simply choosing another roofing company to do business with. We came out and performed an initial inspection and discussed how we can work with the insurance to replace the roof. Then made a second trip to the property and met with the insurance adjuster. After an hour, the adjuster and myself came to an agreement about work to be performed. During this meeting the insurance adjuster asked All Pro to perform an emergency repair to cover an area where some shingles had blown off. He stated the repair would be covered. We performed the emergency repair the next day. Afterwards I contacted her but didnt receive a call back.
I received the initial paperwork and the adjuster didnt include the emergency repair in the initial paperwork but if the customer submits our invoice to their insurance, it will be paid for, as stated by the adjuster. We sent out a **** for the time spent working with the adjuster and time spent performing an emergency repair. All Pro offers free inspections, but we do not provide free insurance work or free repairs. We provided a service and services arent free.

I am rejecting this response because:I never agreed on any terms or prices for work that All Pro Roofing company states was performed, verbally or written.
As stated previously, had I agreed for the company to come out and perform the tarping of a section of my roof, I would have declined. Other companies quote less expensive tarping repairs and had we had any kind of discussion related to that I would have declined at that time. The company never asked to tarp the roof. My adjuster and insurance company is not legally able to consent to work performed, only the homeowner is.
The roofing company does not perform "insurance work" and I did not ask the company to do "insurance work." My insurance company does insurance work. The roofing company was responsible for providing a quote on a roof replacement, which was never provided and was why I did not do business with All Pro Roofing.
Again I feel as if the company is trying to simply retaliate against a possible customer because I chose to use a different company. You can not send someone an invoice for work they never asked or agreed for you to do.

On the initial visit I met with ***** and ********. They agreed for me to come back and meet with the adjuster. I came back and met with the adjuster, I told ******** the adjuster wanted me to tarp the damaged areas and ******** said, Ok. On the following day I sent workers out to perform the tarping. Our company does not retaliate against possible customers. Also, part of our service is to work with insurance adjusters to complete a *****, we arent insurance adjusters, but we work with them to provide damage evidence, pricing, code requirements, costs, etc.all roofing companies, legitimate ones anyways, provide this service to their customers to help with the insurance claim. We are very sorry for any confusion and would just like to receive payment for our services. Again, if the customer submits the work order to their insurance company, the customer wont be out of pocket any money.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Pricing for services company states they provided were never discussed prior to performing work. Permission from homeowner was never sought prior to tarping and my apologies for any confusion there; however I did not agree for work to be performed and had I been informed I would have declined.
Walking with my adjuster was presented to me as a courtesy, had a fee been associated with it and discussed with me prior to I would not have had the roofer come out.
