BBB Complaint against ****** ****** ******** **** of Willoughby, Ohio November 27th 2021 Signed purchase agreement and took possession of a **** ** *** **0. VIN ***************** Dealer placed a temporary tag on vehicle. Paid off loan to M************ Financial Services. Received a Lien Satisfied letter from MBFCS December 28, 2021. Temporary tag expired January 11th, 2021. No update of status from Leikin motors. Visited dealership and was issued another temporary tag by a Leikin Motors employee. I was told Dee Fisher, the business person that handles license plates and temporary tags was not In the office on that particular day. Spoke with ** ******* and did not receive useful answer or solution except to speak with *** ******* Unable to get a sensible answer from ** ****** as she appeared to talk over any concerns I mentioned. ** ****** suggested I provide more proof of my identity. “Please submit a copy of your Military ***** document”. I refused her suggestion. February 7th, 2022, I visited a Ohio Title office in Mayfield Heights, Ohio and presented them the Lien Satisfaction letter I received from MBFS. Their reply was…”This matter should be handled by Leikin Motors of Willoughby” I wrote a letter to ******* ****** and have not received a reply as of today’s date. Good Morning, We just received the title from the bank in which the previous customer had it financed. The title is at the *** today where we are getting the customer license plates for him at no charge. We are covering the registration costs for this customer. We will be contacting the customer tomorrow to let him know he can pick up his plates and title tomorrow once we have it back at the dealership from ***. Again, the delay was not with us, it was with the financial institution (bank) that the car was previously financed with releasing the title to us. There is a massive back log with titles being released from banks right now, they are low on man power. We will contact customer tomorrow and he should be all set by end of week.

I am responding to your email with the following details:
Indeed I received my certificate of registration and 2022 Ohio license plates from The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Interestingly, the issue date is February 23, 2020. More interesting is the date listed as the purchase/sale date is February 23, 2022. Turns out I purchased the vehicle from Leikin motors November 27th, 2021. I paid the outstanding balance off with ******** **** Credit union within 2 weeks.
Also, I had the vehicle serviced by ******** **** ** *******, Ohio February 25, 2021. I not going to pick pepper out of Fly Crap regarding my experience with Leiken Motors except to say, “ There is a zero chance I’ll do business with Leikin Motors moving forward.
