I have a Kenmore Model 1068263980 upright freezer Serial No. *********. Earlier this year, the seal failed and I requested repair. This business installed a new seal and when the serviceman came out he said that it would fit my model and yet he had to physically stretch it and later I noticed the seal still was not good. He came back to adjust it and he stretched again he used a hot gun. It did not seem normal but I am not an expert. I am at a loss because it is still not sealing correctly and I am getting too much frost and it I am concerned about food safety. I would have used the $274.26 towards a new freezer if a correct seal was not available. I have attached a website that shows that ******** is supposed to be correct, so I am wondering if a wrong part was substituted. The business is telling me that Kenmore made a bad recommendation of that part for my freezer and that I should call them, even though they are the people that ordered it.Business response
