My car was scheduled to be looked at by Tiffin Ford for possible tires, brakes that shook when braking at high speed, and an undetermined rattling under the hood that with time gets worse. After having my car they called and said tires were good and brakes were also good and nothing about the rattling. I went in to speak to them and said that can’t be. I know a tech ***** drove the car around town and no shaking when braking…but if you drive 55 or higher that’s when they are having an issue, I also mentioned the rattling that wasn’t addressed and ***** said it wasn’t a sag concern. I said how is it not? It could be a loose belt or something that will get worse one day and cause a bigger problem. ***** said they will keep it and have someone else look at it. Next day ***** called and oh they found the back brakes are bad. They ordered parts and will let me know when it’s done. Went in to pick it up. The car still has shimming when braking and the undetermined rattling still was not addressed and fix incase it causes something major.Business response

Reineke Family DealershipsThe customer brought in a 2019 Chevy Traverse in for a safety inspection that is provided by
Job and Family Services. This is a government program that requires us to follow strict
guidelines.
After our initial inspection we found the vehicle was in good condition tires at 5/32 tread
remaining ( new tires have 10/32 - legally bald at 2/32) and brakes at 50% life remaining. All
front end parts are good and everything else checked out good. When she came in to pick up
her vehicle she said it has a terrible vibration while braking at 55 mph and rattling noise under
the hood. We then had a second technician inspect the vehicle and he found the vibration
while braking to be the rear brakes, but were unable to hear the rattling noise. We replaced the
rear brakes and returned the vehicle to the customer.
Occasionally we cannot duplicate customer concerns and need to test drive with the customer.
I believe that is needed in this case and would be happy to do so. We were unaware that she
was still having issues with her car or we would have offered to test drive with her.
