We started this journey in September of 2021. We found CJ C**** off of ***********. He was local, and we thought it was awesome that he was young and had his own business, so even though we had other quotes, we decided to help a young, small business owner by giving him business. He sounded like he knew what he was doing. The work was paid in full in October of 2021. This has been a year ago and the work is still not complete. He blows us off, gives us every single excuse you can think of, makes all sorts of broken promises, and continues to tell us he'll "be there tomorrow." I posted a negative review on ******** a while ago, and at that point, he promised he would finish the job if I took the post down. The negligent work has caused even more problems. We have wavy siding, and some pieces that are still falling down. It's embarrassing that we have brand new siding, and it looks like it does. When the new shingles were put on, they took down the chimney stack, and when it was put back up, they never caulked it, and water POURED down into the fireplace. It is currently NOT in usable condition, as the firebrick crumbled. The brand-new skylights still leak, and the ceiling is falling down in the kitchen. We've been told for months that he's coming to fix them with replacements. I have patched it once already, but it keeps getting worse with every rain. The skylight in the master bathroom leaked so bad that there was mold, and they had to rip the shower out. We paid for a replacement. The concrete board was put in incorrectly. It is currently at a standstill. We haven't been able to use our master bathroom shower/tub in MONTHS. At this point, we have been incredibly patient, but I am completely fed up, and we would prefer a refund so we can pay another contractor to finish the work. We have a year of text messages confirming everything said here, with the owner, CJ C****, acknowledging everything and agreeing to fix it.
