Paid Package Central to Overnight a document from Ohio to McKinney Texas on 07/13/23 #**** **** ****.. It took 5 DAYS to get there. I contacted Fed Ex and they said they would definitely refund my money as this was obviously not OVERNIGHT. I however could not apply for the refund as I was the sender not the shipper. I then contacted Package Central to have them apply for the refund on 07/20/23. I was told " I cannot process refunds and my manager is off for the next 2 weeks. I will have her call you when she returns." They never called. I called them again. The manager was not back, said she will have her call me. They never did. I called them again on 08/03/23. Was told they were waiting to hear from Fed Ex and would call me the next day. They never called. When I called again the manager ****** said she was contacting them that afternoon and would call me tomorrow. I have not heard from them since. WOW! UNBELIEVEABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not to mention their facility is a dilapidated, shabby and unpleasant place. Just want to know why FedEx said they would refund and yet Package Central is not getting me that refund. A little communication would be nice as well.Business response

We are a small business, privately owned 3rd party shipping center. We sent this package out on 7/13/2023 for the customer using FedEx Priority Overnight. The money paid to us goes to FedEx besides a $5 label fee we charge. When i got back from vacation I called the customer and left a voicemail 8/2/2023 stating I would file a claim with FedEx to try and get her money back. I filed claim with FedEx on 8/4/2023 the turn around time on waiting to hear back from FedEx on a claim is 7 to 10 days normally. I got a response from FedEx saying they denied the claim. I called FedEx on 8/16/2023 to see why it was denied they said because it was delivered and to try and file for a refund, I filed for a refund on 8/20/2023, it was denied so i put in a dispute and spoke with customer telling her what has happened. We unfortunately can only refund what FedEx refunds. I am still waiting for an answer from FedEx disputing their denial.
