I was on waiting list for 5 years. Finally I’ve got the apartment on the 3rd floor in Federation Plaza building in ********* **. The building is section 8 rent. After two weeks as I moved in, the leak started : all the things stored under the bed were full of water. Then during 3(!!!) years period after every rain( not only storms) my carpet was wet. Local management put the drying machines in my apartment, my bed was moved, and I was forced to leave the apartment for a few nights. This was continuing to happen at least 4-5 times a year. Carpet was wet-and-dry MANY times. I lived in this condition from October 2020 till now. The customer service did not answer my emails , local management knew about the problem. And only when in November 2023 renovation started in the building, PK management LLC customer service sent me an email that no compensation will be provided. I think that local management and the upper management in Ohio knew about the problem in apartment 326 and rent it to me anyway. My 3 years of retirement became yers of suffering. I am still in the same apartment, fearing for the next rain, breathing stuffy air and walking on dirty carpet…. I thought that Florida is the best place for retirees, but not anymore….

Florida has experienced a large amount of rain from storms that resulted in the leaks to our Federation Plaza building. Each time this issue occurred maintenance was sent to extract the water and provide fans and dehumidifiers to rectify the situation. Wind driven rain from a major storm is a casualty event due to sudden and unexpected nature. Recently Federation has been approved for a renovation to help prevent future storm leaks and damages to the best extent possible. All the apartments have been approved to receive the renovation. Compensation was not offered because the property staff addressed the leaks when they occurred in a timely fashion. Renters insurance is always encouraged to take care of any personal items that were lost or damaged as a result of acts of nature.

The point is that ********* **** ***** ****** had leak problem before it was rented to me. Management did not warn me about it, violated my right as a tenant. Then during three years period did not take care of the leak problem.

Terrible maintenance. My current maintence guy seems not to know anything about maintence. Terrible property management. Had mold in my bathroom for years. Maintence guy told me I needed to clean my bathtub and shower more ofter. Found the problem. Shower walls were not put in properly. When I have compalints about other residents, I feel and believe that the property mangagemnt never took my concerns serious. I never seemed to have a problem with the past mangagment. Once PK management took over I believe all hell broke loose. There are so mnay more issues I could address. Now I am reading about how many people sued PK managment. WOW. PK management isn't a BBB. WOW.

I am leaving this here cause PK Management is not responding to my emails or phone calls. I was accused by a white property manager that I came after her with a butcher knife on camera. I am a black woman and had to spend a day in jail. When the cameras show that I did not have a knife I will be filling an emotional distress suit. Ashly did not allow my friend and neighbor into my apt to feed my ESA animals. This is animal cruelty.When I was homeless I spent my days in the superior court house and the court library talking to lawyers. I spent my time educating myself on Hud handbook policies and federal housing laws.ery large law from here in the state of Washington known for evicting low income residents. I was taught a very good motto that I live by: The pen is mightier than the sword. I wait am waiting on the footage of the lobby area after Ashley ***** told the cops those cameras are not recording.So many black people get locked up of false statements and lies or their life gets taken because of the lies of racist people.I refuse to sit back and be a statistic because I worked all my life to try to stay out of the stereotype of what it means to be a black woman in America today. All the stereotypes Ashley put on me. She's loud She's violent. I have case law paperwork that proves Ashly has done the most like taking me to anti harassment court which I won by default cause she didn't want to sit down with a court approved mediation here in Seattle known as King County dispute resolution center. When I was homeless I was invited to talk to people of Congress like Patty Murray because I know how to communicate and get my point across in a mature manner. Having mixed kids does not mean you're not racist. Why am I facing eviction over the lies of Ashly Radke when the cameras are clear as day show I did not have a knife? I have always paid my rent on time so why is PK Management trying to evict me over a white woman's lies against me?I have the proof in my favor.

If you are presently under eviction, you will have the opportunity to present your case in court and voice your concerns as to why this does not seem fair to you. At that time a judge will make the final decision in the matter of the eviction. Our apartment complex nor management company has the right to evict anyone without a fair trial.

This company has been harassing my family since we moved in. They have entered my home with out permission and seen my teen son naked. Now, another threat to violate my lease if I don't cooperate.
