      Truck is excessively shifting hard at random intervals in consistent shift patterns, this is not to be confused as a firm crisp shift it actually jerks the truck and shakes drinks out of a drink holder while shifting under normal acceleration. This has been issue from day 1 called several times was told this was normal for their transmission builds . leaks transmission fluid on garage floor also from day 1 again no response or resolution from FIREPUNK was told this is normal Via phone conversation . I was also told I could pay to have truck towed to there location but they said this was all typical of their builds.I feel this is very non typical of a $7100. 00 rebuild Transmission that is still under warranty . Mileage on truck at drop off for transmission rebuild was 86,078 and current mileage is 91,000 mileage. Not to mention excessively long delays when shifting into reverse and drive sometimes almost 4 minutes when cold. Foaming on the dip stick when checking fluid level in neutral when engine is running. Air is being introduced into the hydraulic system somehow.leaking appears to becoming from front pump seal or in that general vicinity. Just want the Transmission mission fixed as we have brought to their attention from day 1 and not to mention 2 yr unlimited mileage warranty! want the same customer service that we received the day we purchased the transmission! That we can’t get now.When asked to split the cost of tow bill to their shop for warranty work since I live 4 hours away I was refused! I consider this very poor service. JUST WANT WHAT WE PAID FOR!!!!!!

      Thank you for your concerns, first I'm sorry you are experiencing these problems, and we are always willing to reach a resolution as quickly as possible.  We just need to set up a time for you to bring the truck to Firepunk, and we will be glad to diagnose and repair as needed.  Our warranty is a 100% workmanship warranty which means we are not just willing, we WANT to repair any problem that was created by a workmanship error on our part.  You can reach out to Josh in our service department *** *** **** ext *** and he will find a time slot to fit you into our schedule as soon as possible.  You can also contact me directly by emailing ************************.  We are willing to do a same day repair, where we diag, repair as needed all in the same day while you wait to make it as convenient as possible. Again, I hate that you are having these concerns, and Its our commitment that we will make sure your transmission is performing as it should.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      Firepunk has made contact with me via phone call they did set a time for me to drop the truck off to be diagnosed as stated in their response. But have failed to meet the same day diagnosis and repair they said they would perform while i wait. The truck was dropped off on 1/31/2024 (At my expense) as of our phone conversation 2/2/2024 they have been working on truck and plan on keeping it until at least 2/5/2024 and from the responses they have given me to this point is that the transmission is preforming to their satisfaction  NOT MINE  !!!!!  I am allowing them time to correct these issues with the same eagerness as they state in their  response. But unfortunately at this time i do not feel confident a resolution is in the near future. All though hopeful something POSITIVE will come from this soon .  AS OF NOW PROBLEMS ARE NOT RESOLVED

      after talking with ****** at firepunk  i agreed to allow them A one shot chance at fixing the issues at hand (The oil leak, lack of gear engagement upon cold start and the excessive hard shift (not to be confused with axel wrap) If it was axel wrap the traction bars, they recommended would have fixed that and it did not it is an excessively hard shift. But ****** also stated that is the way our product preforms and his own truck shifts just like mine.  As for the oil leak it seems as that was fixed, they stated that it was a simple 25 second fix and i feel it is no longer leaking. And the lack of engagement upon cold start they said they changed a valve to prevent the torque converter from drain back it made a moderate change at best.  ****** has made contact with me  i stated my dissatisfaction with him his company and policies i feel we have made little to no progress  i have since removed the 7000.00-dollar transmission they sold me and have replaced it with a different one .  I no longer want any contact from firepunk i gave them the opportunity to correct the problem i feel they failed. I  recommend extreme caution upon doing Business with them  i feel they up sold me a product that was not what i walked through the door looking for and they did a poor job advising me on what was to be expected of their product and they did very little or closer to nothing to correct the issues.  Still very dissatisfied customer but can no longer afford to commute over 2 hrs away at my expense to get the run around on i told them i have to live with the product they sold me they have to live with the bad reviews I'm going the give  them.  ****** your transmission will be on display at lima Truck show 2024 hope to see you there

      I ordered a transmission from this company for a total of $8000 when they shipped it back to me they failed to put all the parts back on it that I shipped to them including electronic shift actuator a shift linkage and a push in neutral safety switch sensor after mini mini mini times contacting and being passed back-and-forth by **** and **** to no avail I am still missing my shift linkage because I did not specify that in our correspondence that the two parts that are attached to each other I need both of them. Aside from atrocious customer service they stole my parts and are keeping them from me and will not send them back to me not only did I spent $8000 on a transmission I bought their electronic package for another $5000 within the same month the transmission arrived. **** and **** pretend like it’s not their problem to give me my parts back when it really is I’m ridiculed about calling five times in two days when my truck is literally sitting waiting on one part did they never sent me back from my core transmission. Not a part I purchased from them who’s a part I sent in on a core transmission a part I already own. Real shady places like that keep all the little parts that they can so they have to sell your new ones just a hack of a company. All they do is put their sticker on parts I had someone else build they don’t do anything special and then they make YouTube videos about how great their customer service is when in reality it is garbage. Long story short I want these thieves to give me back my parts

      I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint. Got my part and I hate that we had to go this route but I’m sure we all learned something valuable. I received an email for shipping as I published the BBB complaint so I believe ***** and his team had matters sorted before BBB reached out. I do believe this is a good company.
