We purchased and built a new home with Pulte homes in 2022. Pulte subcontracted **** to install the carpeting into our new home. Two years later the carpeting looks like its 10 years old buckled up and bubbling all over the house. My father who installed carpeting for ************************************************************************************************************ the whole house to do it as quickly as possible. I reached out to **** directly to fix the issue and they tried to charge me to have the issue resolved. There is no reason that brand new carpeting should need restretched throughout the house after 2 years. It is even buckled up in low traffic areas like closets. Its a significat eye sore and i shouldnt have to pay them again to fix a problem that could have been avoided if they installed it properly. I am asking that they come and fix the problem .

I am rejecting this response because:    Contractors have a responsiblity and a contractural obligation to execute their work in a professional and workman like fashion.  That was not done on this project.  The contractor WCCV Flooring failed to install leveling compound.  Because WCCV failed to install the leveling material,  the project was destined to fail.  Since the leveling compound was never installed the job  was "never completed in a professional workman like fashion".  Since the job was never installed according to the manufacturers detailed instructions and the leveling compound was never installed, and Since they missed an entire step they never finished the job, and the job remains unfinished, and must be completed before The Warranty Period can begin.    WCCV's failure to complete the floor installation makes them responsible for the failure and needs to correct the failed floor installation at their expense.
