Alot of negative reviews on this company, here goes another one, Bought a Dodge 5500 later summer 2022 Catalyic converter was stolen before I purchased the Vehicle on their lot: Dealer states wrong facts on Google Reviews that nothing was stolen on their lot prior to the purchase completion. Either the Sales person is not telling the truth, or someone isn't telling the truth. They delivered the Truck after the sale and said everything was fixed: I got in the truck at my house and started it up and the dash said 125 miles to limp mode and needs servicing. They told me don't worry about and drive to Chicago. I told them I didn't buy the truck and it was to be fixed, not delivered not fixed. They are claiming I bought it AS IS. Then this company took the vehicle back and told me the reason for the problem is they put aftermarket parts on it, then it was a recall. After all that, it didn't fix the problem, whatever it is. Then the last thing they wanted me to give them $3,000.00 to "SEE IF IT MIGHT" fix the problem. History shows they have no idea and just want to me to throw money at it. Again I bought a vehicle that was told it would be running w/ no prob when they fixed the problem and delivered it. Not the case. The sales manager and service manager called me to offer to give me a discount on the parts and labor, and buy the vehicle back. I told them this vehicle is a specality vehicle and was purchased for the company and they could buy it back and pay for the thousands in expenses the company has incurred do to they failures, mis communicaiton, false promises, and decpetive sales pratices. They said no. I sent the owner and general manager a 'Litigation Hold and invoice from company". Its pretty simple, follow the paperwork and money and stop treating your customers like dollar bill. Well dealer, I bought the vehicle being told it would be 100% fixed before delivery. Go ahead and stand your ground, I will see you in court.Liberty Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Response

My service director, sales manager and myself had a conference call with our customer. The vehicle was sold and signed off by the customer as 100 As-Is. We offered to fix the vehicle at a discounted goodwill cost. Our customer turned down that offer. We then offered to buy the vehicle back, and our customer again turned down that offer. We have nothing else left to offer and consider this case closed.Review from Rhiannon M

Worse place to take your vehicle for service especially if you serve our Great Country! Took car in, had diagnostic done, oil change, recalls, etc. Took car home parked in garage and then drove 2 days later just to have LEAKING COOLANT all over! Took to an EXPIERENCED MECHANIC and they said whomever did oil change and checked the coolant DID NOT know what they were doing. This place DID NOT put the oil cap on or the Coolant Reservoir Cap as collant and oil were everywhere. What a joke! Called to speak with management, left numerous messages and how convenient to deal with voicemail. Still no returned call and waste of money. Save yourself money, time, and headache go somewhere else that is professional and treats their customers with care. Other reviews I promise are family and friends of family etc. No Thank you.Liberty Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Response

********* I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I can promise you that these reviews are not family and friends of family, and that we take great pride in ensuring customer satisfaction here. I can only apologize that your experience was not up to par. I am going to speak with the service director, and we will take appropriate action. I will look up your history and reach out. I hope you choose to continue business here and that we can make things right for you.Review from Jim R

The latest is really the worst example of laziness and ineptitude of the service department. Our grand cherokee is a little over a year old and the ac cuts out after about 2 hours or so of driving. We took it in to have it looked at before our yearly trip to ******* with our dogs. Technician calls my wife to say likely nothing really wrong just us not knowing how to use the ac system right. Really. A vehicle we've driven daily for a year and also a vehicle model we've leased multiple times before. They also "reset" the climate control system just in case. I was pretty mad then because I doubted their inaction solved anything but you have to trust these "experts" because this is their job. As expected the ac fails in Alabama. 90+ degree weather. Lucky our dogs didn't die before I could get to a road side rest. 5 minutes of ****** yielded that the blower fan relay over heats and fails. I'm handy enough to know where the fuses/ relays are and luckily this vehicle uses this same relay for multiple things so I swapped a couple around and boom ac back for the rest of the 10+ hours of driving.Bottom line. I wouldn't trust them to change a light and as a matter of fact have avoided addressing a recall on my car for years because I don't trust them. I hate being so nasty but my dogs could have died in 90 degree heat on a highway in Alabama because the Liberty service **** couldn't be bothered to do their job.Liberty Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Response

Good morning *****, my name is ******* I am the Customer First Coordinator here at **********************. I reviewed your vehicle history and spoke with the Service Advisor about this issue. First I would like to apologize that you felt you were not treated fairly and that you don't trust us. I assure you that we strive to provide the best **************** we can for each and every customer, and I don't believe your ** stopped working because of our ****************** "not being bothered to do their job". I see it was 2 months ago when your vehicle was in for service for this issue, and to avoid any inconvenience, we gave you a loaner to drive while we had yours in the shop to ensure we had enough time with it and get a proper diagnostic. During that time, we let the vehicle idle and tried multiple different things to try to duplicate your concern. Unfortunately, we could not get the ** to stop working as you describe; we reset the system and tried again, but it still continued to work as designed. I understand you moved some fuses around and when you did that, it would have caused a "hard reset" on the system-making it work for now but you will likely run into the issue again as that is only a temporary fix, and that is basically the same service we did on the vehicle when it was here in July. I am very sorry that your dogs were with you and they may have gotten hot-I assure you we love dogs here and we do not want to see anything happen to them! We still want to help you fix this issue, so if your ** is still not working properly-please don't hesitate to reach out to us to get the vehicle back in here. Unfortunately, if the system is working properly there just isn't any way for us to fix something that works as designed. If you can get it in here while it is not working, we should have better luck at diagnosing the issue. I hope you feel you can trust us again, your opinion matters to us greatly! Thank you again for your time and business.Review from Crystal W

I am forced to continue to use them in order to keep the warranty forever but their service department is absolutely horrible. I would never purchase from them again. They only reason I did was because of the Warranty Forever they advertised (I put ALOT of MILES on my vehicles). If only I would have known how horrible the ****************** is I would have chosen elsewhere; in a current market where it is difficult to purchase a vehicle I wish they would just take this back so I never have to deal with them again!!!! Let me start by saying yes I am a female that knows her cars. It is very unfortunate that service shops can take advantage of those that do not.. I purchased this car with 11 miles on it in May 2019 (1st brand new car I had ever owned). On June 11th(**** miles) I dropped it of at Liberty to have a list of problems checked out (transmission; it had a clicking sound when driving around 40mps when I would let off the gas to coast and then press gas again, brakes make a grinding sound when going over any type of rough terrain, the radio system was having issues, and the push auto locks were not working). After leaving the car there all day the called me and said it was ready for pick up but they could not duplicate any of my concerns and ran an update on the radio system. I went to pick it up only to notice that the mileage was still at ****!!!!! How can you "duplicate" anything with transmission and brakes without driving it???? Oh and the lock still wasn't working...I immediately went in and spoke to a manager. Who appeared to be upset as well about all of my concerns when he confirmed everything I was telling him about it not being driven or the locks still now working...BTW I had taken photos of the odometer because I am that person that does not trust people. He offered a free rental (which car was still under warranty) and said he would have someone look at it the following day. I picked it up again only to be told that they still could not duplicate the transmission or the brakes but did do an update on the electrical system to fix the locks.... Ok Whatever maybe I am just to in tune to all the noises....Fast forward to July and it was time for the 1st oil change(yes I put ALOT of HIGHWAY MILES on it) I took photos of everything prior to confirm they were doing what they should be doing because I now had my doubts. No issues here...Next oil change was in October 2019 again I took the same steps to make sure it was all done however at the end of the service I had asked for the Multi Point Inspection form. The Service Rep said " oh it must still be back in the shop I'll go get it; 15 minutes later he returned with a sheet...My guess it was never done and they did it back there(I'll get to the point of this shortly). In December I started noticing an issue with the Steering. It sorta felt like there was a spot that would lock up when turning steering wheel left or right; just like a little catch and you would have to put a little more pressure than normal on it which was a problem in the snow.... I took the vehicle in to have it checked and of course they could not duplicate....A couple weeks later I took it in again and still could not duplicate.. By this point it was getting close to being out of the manufactures warranty...I did my own research and found that some owners of this year/make/model were having similar issues. I finally found someone online that had found a mechanic shop in another state that could diagnose the problem; I reach out to this person for the name of the shop. I called the shop and they said it was the Steering Rack..I called Liberty to take it in once again before it was out of manufactures warranty. Finally after the 3rd time the technician realized it was the Steering Rack!!!!!So here we are now August 2021 I continue to have the "transmission noise" which was originally complained about when it had **** miles on it. It does not always do it but in the last few months has gotten worse so I decided to take it in. Since my next oil changed was coming up(It's now at 85K+ miles) I figured I would tell them then. I mentioned it while I was at the oil change and they said they could not look at it the same day as oil changed so we scheduled to take it in 8/26. MY BREAKING POINT TODAY!!! I took it in waited the hour and was told "great news the technician drove it and believes the problem is the strut mount on the drivers side, we have the parts and it will cost you $515.00" . I said are you sure it's not the transmission I feel it does it a times that makes me feel like its transmission related....He assured me it was. I explained to him that that is a problem because when I brought this in 2 years ago with the same problem(which he was able to see the records) you couldn't mimic the sound but now that it's out of warranty for those types of repairs you can....Of course he said well this is only the 2nd time you have complained about the issue...Well guess what I don't trust your service and the problem was not a consistent problem until recently so I didn't feel the need to bring it in until I knew you would be able to mimic it.....After leaving there angry I pulled my "Multi Point Inspection" papers from the oil change 6 days ago and noticed that 6 days ago my left and right struts were marked in good condition but I guess they lie on those papers because it also states that they reset the Oil Indicator light when they changed the oil but when I left that day I had to walk back in and ask him to reset it. Which he did and then apologized.....Whatever you do DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE IF YOU PLAN ON HAVING THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR VEHICLE EVEN IF YOU THINK IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!!!!!! The sales team was fine and the manager that helped me with my 1st set of issues in 2019 seemed to care about my concerns but I am now forced to continue to deal with this service department.Liberty Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Response
