On March 27, 2024 I went to her for teeth cleaning and x-rays. After poking around in my mouth for quite a while I was informed that I needed $1400 plus of dental work that had to be done to my gums before she would even clean my teeth. I declined the treatment and she informed me that she would not be able to clean my teeth until I had all this work done. I am on Medicare. My allowance is $2000. She did the exam and x-rays and then told me I needed to have $1400 additional work done. it seems suspect to me that I needed all that. On April 15. I went to the dentist. I’ve been going to for five years and had my teeth cleaned and had an exam and was told I did not need any additional work. The reason I went to Dr. *********** was because she took my new insurance. My old dentist did not. I find it very suspect that she knows that I had a $2000 Medicare allowance per year and I mysteriously needed all this work. In my opinion it seems like she’s doing a little defrauding of Medicare. This really angered me. I don’t normally file complaints but this one really got to me. Just putting it out there so that anybody that goes to her should get a second opinion before you let her do any work.
