A one star rating is generous. Terrible experience. My deceased husband had a collection of over 125 paintings that were oil on canvas with beautiful frames. Most oils were from Toledo Artists and dated back to the early 1900's. ***************** came to my home on February 26th and viewed them all. She said we could watch the auction online and she would give us the date. We would even have a chance to pull any paintings that were not moving for a decent price. 3 weeks later on March 20th, the paintings were picked up. From date of pick up into early May, I called her office 5 times for questions. I received nothing back. I called **** and texted her 8 different times and was ghosted. In early May we were all wondering what happened to our paintings. We could not get any answers.On May 13th I received a very small check with no explanantions. The memo said "Auction Proceeds." I was confused and thought it was for one painting. I called ************* Once again, no response. I texted **** and asked her to respond immediately. She called and the conversation was filled with many excuses. She said WE should have looked for the auction online. She then said she sent me a dot loop in my email to sign which showed the auction was over. Nothing was in my email. She said it was her co-workers fault because he was supposed to call us to tell us when the auction was. She then went on to to say there was a family emergency and she was stressed.Working with Beth Rose Auctions was a disheartening experience for my family.Review from Kay M

We used this auction company on a recommendation, their employees were absolutely great and worked very hard for what they did, However after the auction was over they sent an order to a different address and different name than on the credit card , aboulestly, a scam, the charge came back to us , and she still has charged us a commission on this sale and kept the money it's sad that trying to settle a loved ones estate actually cost us money, there are people out there you should avoid.She is one !

This Seller stole items from the auction. When buyers came to pick up their items they were not there. I also had a charge back from a bidder on a credit card of which I made right with the seller even though I cannot guarantee the buyer. In the amount of $1600+. As you realize there are two sides to every story. This is an auction I should not have taken and regret taking it. I did it as a favor for a colleague. I lost money on this auction. The Seller was extremely difficult to work with and nothing I did made her happy. This is the reason I gave her back the money from the chargeback and wrote it off as a loss. This was a very ungrateful seller. Nothing I did made her happy.Review from Carol C

Absolutely the most unsuccessful online auction possible. I had valuable items that sold for practically nothing. The promised marketing was basically nonexistent. Auctioneer made more money than I did. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone.Beth Rose Real Estate and Auctions, LLC Response

*****, I'm sorry you are disappointed however we did advertised your items of which I am happy to provide you with the marketing and analytics. You had over ****** bidders for your auction, they brought what they were worth. We discussed what you felt the value was of your items prior to your auction because you had a opinion of value that was not feasible. I assure I did not make more than you did. I am happy to provide you with my profit and loss statement upon request. You had a very small auction and I should have never taken it however, I wanted to help you. I should have turned it down.
