on 3/21/2022 Greg D***** of Hendels said they would plant a red maple tree in the next three weeks in my back yard. They planted it on or about 4/26/2022. On 7/6 I left a message for Greg to call me back as it looked like the tree was dying. On 7/7 I called Hendels office and they said they would have Greg call me. On 7/11 called Hedels office and they said they would have Greg call me. On 7/12 called their office and they said they would have Greg call me. On 7/12 called Greg's cell phone and he said he would check with Jarrod Hendel and get back to me. Never heard back from Greg and I called him on 7/18 and left a message for him at noon, called him again at 3:45 and left a message for him again.On 7/19 called Jarrod Hendel at noon and they said he would get back to me, also left a message with Greg D***** today again. Greg nor Jarrod ever got back to me. The tree they planted looked like it did not have any roots when they planted it. I would like my money back since they do not seem to want to do business with me.Initial Complaint

Date of service: 5/13/2021 I agreed to an estimate $3800, but paid an additional $400 to remove wood that was not removed. They left piles of wood that were supposed to be removed. I contacted the business about the problem via their website on 5/29/21. There was an attempt to contact me via telephone on 6/1/21 but when I returned the call, I got no answer and could not leave a message.Business response

I apologize on behalf of the crew for not completing the job properly and also for not getting back to you sooner on this matter. Despite the busy season and everything that comes with it for both our companies that is not how we like to do things here at Hendel's. Please email us at ********************* so we can get this resolved as soon as possible and in whatever way is most beneficial to you.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. It is a "response" without offering any resolution. If in response to an email I send to the business email provided, the large stump in back is reduced to 1 ft or less AND all excess wood from their work is removed, that will resolve my complaint. So all I can attest to currently is that my acceptance or rejection is only pending
