I bought my 2022 ********** from Performance Toyota Fairfield, OH and I'm very upset from the way they treated me. They refuse to sale me in cash and insist to finance my purchase and charged me $1,918.00 finance fee. They convinced to buy an extended warranty (3 service contracts - vehicle service contract for the amount of $3,595, prepaid maintenance plan Agreement for the amount of $774 and preferred plus Tire and Wheel for the amount of $1,095) and after I asked them are those contracts valid at all Toyota dealers because I live in Lexington, KY, they assured me they are valid at all Toyota dealers. On April 1st I went to Toyota on Nicholasvile dealer and tried to use the service contracts Performance sold me, the dealer informed me that cannot except these contracts because they are valid only at Performance Toyota. I tried to call Performance for 3 days and left voice massages for them to ask about the problem, but they did not respond to so I drove to them to Fairfield, OH. Their finance man who sold me the 3 contracts told me that the contracts are only valid at their dealer and I can cancel them. The cost for the contracts was $5,464 and when I canceled them the reimbursed me only #3,644 for the 3 contracts. This is manipulation, cheating customers, exploiting customers’ trust in Toyota, and tarnishing its reputation and I advise against dealing with this agent.

Performance toyota tried to sell a car I had an appointment to test drive and possibly buy. they instead put a walk in in the vehicle at the same time as my appointment let them drive it. when I told them we believe this is bad business to try and sell a car underneath someone who had an appointment. for that car. I was then informed my money was no good there when I told them this was bad business.. they then told me they "could sell me the car, but I wasn't or my money wasn't welcomed there. considering I did no paperwork, there's no other reason to make these remarks.. unless they were specifically discriminating against me. the person was black and I believe was the manager. he yelled these things in the middle of the parking lot publicly to embarrass me. I'm also a disabled veteran non of which they knew but proceeded to assume I couldn't afford anything or saying I couldn't based off the only thing there was.. my skin..

06/20/21 THE WEBSITE HAD ADVERTISED A WHITE RAV 4 STOCK #MC144717 WITH A PERFORMANCE DISCOUNT OF $1,847. ALSO HAD ADVERTISED STOCK #MC217081 WITH A PERFORMANCE DISCOUNT OF $4110.THEY ADDED A BANNER ABOVE THE PIC SAYING " BUY TODAY AND SAVE $500" WHEN A INTERNET SALESMAN CALLED I QUESTIONED HIM MANY TIMES ABOUT THE DISCOUNT AND HE SAID THEY THEY DID NOT HAVE THOSE TWO ADVERTISED CARS BUT THAT I COULD COME IN AND ORDER ONE. WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP I SHOWED THE SALES MAN BOTH ADS AND TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED TO ORDER ONE. HE TOLD ME THAT THE AD WAS INCORRECT AND THAT TOYOTA POSTS THOSE ADS NOT THE DEALERSHIP. HE SAID THAT THEY DIDN 'T HAVE THE ADVERTISED VEHCILES AND I COULD ORDER ONE BUT THERE WAS NO DISCOUNTS. AFTER ALL THIS HE WANTED ME TO ORDER ONE AND GIVE HIM $500 DEPOSIT. I WILL TELL EVERY PERSON I KNOW ABOUT PERFORMANCE TOYOTA.

Left many messages for a manager to call us back. Had a bad sales experience. Had come back as a repeat customer because we had a previously good experience.
