      This company is terrible they let other people sign a contract for other people's bills and then don't hold themselves accountable for when they get busted because I've been fried it out of $900 at least this year because of somebody else signing a contract for my bill this company is morally wrong but I guess in Ohio is legally right so they don't hold themselves accountable thank you

      I was informed that they would expedite the removal of my Solar Panel by Momentum Solar in Florida, and they are taking their suit time, I paid half of the money for the removal and replacing my IGS solar panels so that I may repair my roof in Central Florida and they give the answer that they are scheduling it for from 2 to 5 weeks. can I break the lease agreement? because I am not getting the service that I need quickly.

      These scammers will act like they work with the city, when pressed they say you need to update your IGS account, which we don't have. They're going door to door scamming people, plain and simple.

      I was in an online class so I was in a hurry and fell for their scam, which I am kicking myself for now. I am paying more with their “better” rates. Their door to door representatives were pleasant, but what they told me about better rates was far from the truth. Even after looking at my bill, they told me their rate was better than what I had, which it wasn’t. I even mentioned that I believed we had a better rate through a township agreement and they told me there wasn’t one where I live. I’m changing back even with the early termination fee because I don’t want to do business them.

      I was totally blindsided by Monumental Solar who approached me first. After asking about cancellation policy. I was told that after 5 years I could cancel have solar panel. I wasn’t told about any buyout amt an then another payment amt. so recently I decided to sell my house I’m being told that I can never ever remove these solar panels and I can’t transfer them, they are literally stuck to the house for life. I need help getting to a resolution with Igs Solar who later came in the picture. I just regret ever getting solar panels.

      We have reviewed the account and see that the customer currently has a potential buyer for the home, and we are working with both parties to transfer the contract. As outlined in the contract that was signed in March of 2020, the customer can purchase the system after year 5 to cancel out the contract. Putting customers first is our priority and we will continue to work with this customer to ensure a successful transfer of the contract, upon the sale of her home.

      If i could give less than 1 star i would, this company is full of ****, *****, ****** **** who do literally nothing but feed you a load of crap. Save your money and time and go through someone else. They raise your rate while its a fixed amount and will come after your money anyway they can.

      Don't use them, they lie, lied to my face and took advantage. Then when I got the first bill they would not cancel without a $400 fee. My grandchildren live with me and I now have to spend grocery money on my very large energy bill. The amount goes up every month, paying over $150 more than before. Called and they did not care they were taking food out of the mouths of children. Greedy lies, should be so ashamed!!!

      I agree with **** L...IGS Energy are scam artiest. A door to door representative came into our neighborhood, representing IGS. He was very pleasant. He told me how I could save money if I 'bundled' our electric and gas. With high prices on everything, I was all about saving money. He asked to look at our last billing cycles. He stated again that we would save money...by bundling. I was SO EXCITED! We got our first bill for gas and with our new CCF rate, we paid $65 MORE than if we hadn't changed from Direct Energy. HOWEVER, we saved a whole 85 cents on our electric...85 cents!!! I called IGS upset. I asked IGS customer service, "How did we save money by bundling our gas and electric?" Their response, "I saved on our electric". I kept telling them we didn't SAVE by bundling, but are spending MORE because we bundled. I spoke to 3 people, two who were supervisors...****** and *******. They will not let me cancel w/o a $199 cancellation fee, bc I signed a contract. Yes, the sweet young man had me sign several pages on an iPad...as he explained the pages. ALL I knew was, we were going to SAVE by bundling. I did not read the iPad pages, nor did I open and read our emails, that welcomed us to IGS. I am 66 years old and hate looking at email. I don't have FB or any other social media. We don't even have cable. MY BAD...But IGS mislead me when they said we would save money by bundling. Our gas rate more than double! Again, I should have read this, but I trusted the IGS representative who came to our door. Don't bundle electric and gas with IGS. I am now going to be out the $65 overpayment of gas AND a $199 cancellation fee. I also found out there is a $199 cancelation fee for cancelling gas and ANOTHER $199 if I cancel our electric. RUN from bundling.

      My representative presented himself as being with the city and that I had to sign up to make sure that my rates did not increase. My rates are triple what they were on record for last year. I tried calling customer service and they claimed that because I opened my email that I could not cancel without penalty. I told them that their representative that came to my door misrepresented himself as being sent by the city, when in actuality, he was not. I am currently waiting for a return call from a senior representative that I know will never come. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! COMPLETE SCAM and RUDE customer service representatives! If there was a zero star, I would give them that. Extremely expensive... BBB should do something about them! Terrible!
