Vandalia Asphalt has written several proposals for the last three years. I finally signed this year in March. It took until yesterday for them to tell me they cannot do the work after MONTHS of me trying to get answers. The job was set to start at the end of May and this is into August. I have called, e-mailed, called the office etc to no avail. Their contract gives THEM and out, but not YOU. DO NOT give these people any money up front. I'm glad I didn't. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time over all. Now the season is ending soon and everyone is booked out. Surprise. Thanks a lot, for causing me to wait yet another year because you don't know how to use a measuring tape. It's not my fault you didn't measure things correctly to ensure the roller would fit to the top of the driveway. It could have been worked out but instead you chose to ignore me every time I tried to make contact. Retainer walls can be replaced if you'd learn how to communicate with your customers and respect people and their time. Guarantee if I was a man this wouldn't have happened.

I'm very sorry that I have not responded to this comment earlier. We were very busy and our office staff was overloaded. I have removed our scheduler and replaced him with a professional team member. The customer complaints about the schedule have reduced significantly.

Would like to state, on 14 July 2021, we requested an estimate to be done for our driveway and it was explained there was a backlog and we were willing to wait. On 17 August 2021 they canceled due to the estimator not being able to read addresses and get to the correct house; stating the job was already done. On 17 August 2021, I sent them a picture of my driveway, still not not to prove that the estimator went to the wrong house and inquired as to when they would be out. As of 7 Sep 2021, we have had no interaction by mail or email concerning the estimate; this same afternoon, i emailed them canceling all communication and requests.

I'm very sorry for our lack of professionalism and the late response. We had some issues with one of our team members and this problem has been corrected which has resulted in a lot better service over the last two years.
