I got laid off work and needed rent money. Lendly was the only company that didn't decline me for a loan due to my bad credit. I had no choice but to borrow 2,000 they offered me. That 2,000 will cost me a whopping $7,000 to pay off! That is $5,000 on interest alone!

Now i find myself in financial debt. They take out $300 a month from my paycheck but only $50 or less is used for the actual loan. That's unacceptable and very deceiving. How are they still legally allowed to continue with this?

Lendly, LLC (“Lendly”) is in receipt of the consumer’s
complaint. We take consumer complaints seriously and appreciate the opportunity
    to address their concerns.

Please be advised that Lendly is not a lender but instead an
authorized servicer for CC Connect, a division of Capital Community Bank
(“CCBank”). CCBank is a Utah state-chartered bank with the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation as its primary federal banking regulator. Consequently,

CCBank has the authority to export Utah’s permissible interest rates. CCBank is
legally permitted to conduct business in the State of Wisconsin, and there is
no limitation imposed on the interest rates associated with a loan agreement
    with CCBank.

Given the nature of the consumer’s remaining allegations,
please be advised that privacy regulations prohibit Lendly from disclosing
confidential consumer information to third parties without a specific, written
    authorization.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, please note that it is
Lendly’s customary practice to reach out to the consumer or their

Awful company that feeds on those financially vulnerable. The interest rates are absolutely ridiculous and over the FL maximum rate, yet they claim it is legal. Terrible people hurting those in need of some help.

Terrible company with excessive charges. The interest rates are also outrageous and they use threats and predatory ways if you are late. This is a terrible company, out of my $173 payment every two weeks only $9 goes to principal. Ridiculous. Do not use this company.

No wonder the BBB doesn't accredit them. I wonder what it feels like to take advantage of people and hide behind policies and technicalities as if that justifies it. I only used lendly because I thought it was a Walmart employee specific loan. I trusted Walmart so why wouldn't I trust lendly? Turns out after every $160 payment only $9 was actually going towards the repayment, which means $150 was interest. I've made the biggest mistake working with this "company". Biggest regret so far.

The company model is designed to loan money with repayment plans well over triple the amount that was borrowed. You forced to use automatic payments to pay your loan and there are no options available for relief in terms of skipping a payment or 2 for reasons outside of the customers control....such as an unexpected lay off from employment. There are so many more loan options available that truly work with their customers. Highly recommend avoid using lendly!

Use as a last resort. I read the terms and conditions and knew what I was getting into. When you need money though you need it. I took a $2k loan, have paid 16 payments of $161 over 7 months and my principal had only dropped $18. Do yourself a favor and find an alternative option, this just keeps you in debt.

Worst experience of all time. As of now, Lendly is still "reviewing the application". Guys, this has been the fourth time of resubmitting the loan, all the information was correct and best of all, I got approved. I even received an email stating that my funds are on the other way! Less than two hours later, I see that the funding has been voided. I called them and asked why and they said that it was due to not meeting minimum requirements. As a previous agent stated, they give you the "runaround." I filled this out with my sons as I am not too computer savvy and trust me, they are purposely making it a tough process. I have been a loan processor for 3 years. When I tell you, all calls have been noted and if they continue to hold my funds, court will be the next option for discriminatory reasons. We will see. You all be blessed.

This company is awful, I had to borrow money from them one time when I was going through financial difficulties, then my hours at Walmart got cut back to the point in which I quit, well a lot has happened to me in the last year, I got evicted from my apartment and had to move into another apartment, I forgot about my loan, then about 3 months ago I start getting calls from a debt collector saying they was going to take me to court and all this other stuff, they seem to not care if life gets in the way or anything, they are now trying to ruin mine saying I owe $3500 which is amost 200% more than I borrowed

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I used their services to help pay my rent once when I was out of work and in the hospital. Now I'm slowly going even further into debt than before. For a $2,000 loan, they charge an additional $16,000 on top of that amount as a $78 weekly charge that mostly goes straight towards interest. I've been paying months and months of interest, and it's maybe taken $20 off my loan. They offer refinancing, but it has never been available to me. Even places that consolidate your debt won't touch these loans! Once you get one, you're legitimately in trouble for YEARS. It was the worst decision I have ever made. They tell you that you can pay it off early, but you can't make those payments go directly toward the principal, so it doesn't really matter. I spoke with someone at their company, and they told me the only way to get out of it is to make your weekly payments for years or pay the loan amount up front. If I had $2,000 to spare, I wouldn't have needed a loan in the first place. This company is the most predatory loan company under the guise of being helpful. All the 5-star reviews on their page make you assume it's a helpful way to get yourself out of a hole, but I got this loan in January, and it is now April, and I haven't even paid off $100 of it, even though I've paid over one thousand to them in four months. I'm about to lose everything because of this company. Someone needs to shut down this company. What they do to people is disgusting, and their "awesome" customer service representatives sound cold and cruel, like they don't even try to act like they care that their company is ruining your life. Negative 10 stars here. This place is a disaster.
