We were given an amount of 1800 for asphalt on the driveway. We were told the sealant was $500. They did not apply the sealant. I called the following day and spoke with Michael s****** He said they would be out the following day and they failed to show up. I also asked for a detailed receipt because the amount we were charged was 2769. The total should have been 1800 for asphalt, the $500 for the sealer and approx 180 for tax. For a total of $2480. The man who seemed to be in charge the day of installation was very intimidating when questioned. I would like a refund for the sealant and the tax overcharge for a total of 780. They're also two other neighbors that had the same issues, incomplete work and overcharged.Initial Complaint

I was approached last Wednesday at my home. Mike S***** offered to restore my driveway. I agreed to 3 coats of an oil base seller, and patching 3 holes, and reseal paver sidewalks. Mike has a distinct NY accent.
He worked for about an hour. He talked to my neighbors.
He asked questions about my daughters who were home at the time. I was uncomfortable. he asked me to Venmo $1000. I have the Venmo receipt with Michael S*****.
I took a picture of the shirt he was wearing with the biz phone number on it: 614-897-8747.
It rained and it was washed away.
I called 614-897-8747, the number from the shirt. Michael answered with the same NY accent, but he said his name was Mark not Michael. He was aggressive and rude, and said he didn't appreciate hearing that I was unhappy with the work and that it was shoddy. He asked me to text my address to him, but I wasn't comfortable doing that, as I don't want him to come back.

My husband was approached at our home yesterday. We paid Michael S***** $3400 by Paypal to topcoat our 300 foot long driveway. He and another guy did the work. They offered two coats and repairs for $4000. they drove a black Sierra pick up w/an OH license plate. Today, we saw them put gasoline in the 2nd coat. My husband told them he did not want to pay the remaining due as the work was shoddy and not as promised. They still asked for a check. My husband told them to have their boss call him. Nobody has called or returned. They are no longer in our neighborhood.Initial Complaint

On Monday May 3rd, my husband was in the driveway. Michael got out of a very nice truck and asked my husband if he wanted work done on the driveway. My husband came in and got me. I talked to Michael. He said he was a Christian when I said amen. I think I got a soft spot for him when he began to talk about his grandfather passing away, and having diabetes and almost dying when he was a teen. I liked him. He was convincing. We agreed to let him resurface the driveway. He insisted on cash. My husband and I went to the bank. We paid him $6500 cash. His father was w/him and his younger brother. I don't know how many were there because we went to get our Covid shots. When we got home and looked at the driveway I said to my husband I hope it looks better when it's done. I told Michael I wasn't happy w/driveway. But I paid him $6500 because he said he would bring back the contract the next day. He said he wanted them to do a review on Angies list next day. I texted him next day, saying I would do an Angi review until driveway is fixed. Today the driveway looks as nasty as the day they did it. I've called many times. He will not return calls. I sent a text w/our address asking for a receipt. But nothing. Yesterday, my husband and I drove to Morse rd address but there's nobody there. We drove past all of the buildings, nothing.
I went to the biz next door, UHaul, and spoke to ****. She said nobody has been in the bldg by name of Exact Paving. Since I had a pic of him with his shirt on. I gave her the picture. He ans'd her call, and she gave me the phone. I talked to him, he said he told us they had moved from that address. it's one thing after another. shouldn't have pod in cash. nothing done on driveway. we're calling him on 614-897-8747. Maybe out **** *** ****** ***

Walked up to the door of her Grandfather's house offered to fix the roof seal it today & fix the shed . He sealed the roof with driveway sealer. He wanted money up front to seal ithe roof that day Fri & would come back to finish rest of work on Mon. He never came back. We tried to put a hold on the check from Grandfather but he already cashed it.
