    I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 39k miles from Ricart Automotive in April 2023. On my way home after buying it, I had experienced torque converter judder. It was extremely noticeable and is very easy to identify what the issue is. I immediately called back and told the sales person what the issue was and that I would NOT buy a new transmission for a truck that was almost 50K out the door. He told me to bring it in to have service check it out the next day. I brought it in and told them to let me know if they found an issue to let me know and I would just return the truck to them and buy a truck (which I had also been considering) for around the same issue from their lot. It took them over the 3 days to take a look and they did, in fact, find torque converter issue. Nate, a service manager I believe, called and said they did experience Torque converter judder but would only do a transmission flush and see if that fixed the issue. I explained that you can’t just flush the trans fluid and fix that metal would have been shaving off into the transmission and doesn’t put that metal back on. Drained it, said it fixed the issue(prolonging the problem) instead of just checking for metal shavings which would have been apparent. Another month goes by, same issue the whole time. Took it back, they did the exact same thing but this time a check engine light came on for temp sensor on trans. This happened AFTER the main issue occurred. Tried to tell me that’s what caused this which wasn’t the case. Took it in a third time, all they did was change the harness but never addressed the issue. Head of service ***** ******* called and got me in after threatening to sue for fraud. Forth time (October at this time) they finally drop pan, find metal which was there from start. Charged my warranty 6400 dollars and then put a manufactured trans in it and replaced a pump on brakes and now, have no parking assist. IM NOT EVEN SURE THEY REPLACED TRANS BECAUSE IT STILL DOES IT

    Do not go for service. I took my 2019 Malibu for service for a ESC warning light not once but twice. On first visit I was told they hooked the car up and found no error codes even after I told them I had pictures of the light and error messages from my ***** app. A day after having the car light comes back on, this time I am questioned about my interior accent lights. I advised they are plugged into car charger and not hardwired. They claim that the lights are interfering with the car and nothing is wrong so they unplugged them and no error. In my mind that makes absolutely no sense but ok. Two days later light back on called advisor **** who was to call me back of course no return call. I scheduled with ******************* Chevrolet and what do you know the *** modulator is bad thank you to them for actually doing their job as opposed to blowing smoke up my a**
