Ive been having my boat winterized at vance outdoors for around 14y always got good service, but last Dec when I finally got a appointment **** came out said my fuel filter needed changed I said fine then he came out said my fuel was bad , showed me a jar of redish fuel , then he came out and said they couldn't get motor started that they somehow force winterized, then informed me that I needed a high pressure fuel pump he didn't have in stock but in spring he could order for 500.00 ! Well when I got home I used hand pump got half jar of fuel out of tank it looked and smelt fine , yesterday I put battery in and hooked hose to motor ,turned key it started immediately and ran fine!! Vance outdoors use to have great management and employees in boat service but It has changed I beleive new management and employees and you lost a loyal customerVance Outdoors, Inc. Response

We have reached out to the customer to try and make this right. We believe this was miscommunication on the part of our employee and have offered incentives for the customer to give us another chance. We hope to hear from him in the futureReview from David B

This review would be 5 stars but the gun range needs some help with there customer service only guy over there that’s working hard & excellent with customers is **** he should be paid more to train them guys on customer service now over at the firearms counter i love working with ***** or **** but i highly respect a lot of those guys over But one person i feel like deserves a lot of recognition is ****** that woman works hard great customer service never heard her complain i hate it when i don’t get to check out with her how is she not a supervisor yet?Review from Jeff M

I have made several purchases with Vance Outdoors over the course of 25 years. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and patience. Clearly at time the sales staff is super busy,calling numbers off with people waiting. Sometimes they are waiting for customers to come in. The service never changed. They always focused on me with my questions and needs. Don’t know how they do it. Knowledgeable staff have a way to let me ask questions and not feel dumb. I will always take my business with firearms to their store.Review from Kimberly S

First off we drove over an hour to get hear. We ended up making a purchase on Oct 6, 2023. On Oct 18, 2023 we seen the new ad come out with the gun we had just purchased and it was now on sale $130.00 cheaper than what we paid. I called in to the Hebron location where we made the purchase asking them for a refund of the difference, I was told no because you only do those in the first week. It was apparent at that point you guys don't care about keeping repeat customers at all, it was all about getting that sale.Review from Raymond S

Vance outdoors is more worried about profit margins than customer service, this place is ran like a cattle farm bring them in process them and ship them out! I ordered a firearm almost 2 years ago paid a ****** deposit and 2 years later still no gun! I have been very patient they have held onto my money interest free for almost 2 years and all I get are excuses and not even good ones!Review from Ernie V

I have enjoyed this company for a few months. Being a big gun enthusiast i have purchased a gun ammo and a few other things. Over **** dollars worth. On december 1st i ordered a crimson trail laser sight. My money was instantly taken from my debit card. A week or so later i sent them a message asking why they took my money but didnt ship. In the past they shipped in stock items within one buisness day. They would not reply. I sent 5 messages total eith zero reply. The last message i sent i said ship or return my money. "Not Complicated"! And immediantly the order said shipped. But no tracking number was given. They really didnt ship but the item said shipped with no tracking number. This was comfirmed by a phone message from then and a nice sounding girl from there support team verified and saud she has no idea why there was a glitch in there system saying and verifying the item was not shipped! and they are suppose to ship when they take the money. And that was monday 4 days ago. This company simply will not give me my money back that they took with no intent to ship. I am just baffled at what they have done with zero replies to my messages. In my opinion this is criminal inept and nefariousness at its worst. I warm others to be causious with this company. Its been over 3 weeks and im done with this company. My ****+ dollars a month myst not be good enough for them i had another about **** in my cart that they deleted. What is wrong with this company. Its like they hired a real sick person who us trying to destroy them from within. A liberal trying to force others to believe there gun free america crap??????Review from Syd J

This Vances outdoors is discrimination at its finest. I bought a membership August 28 I returned it the 29th, When I first got my membership they stopped from filling my membership out to whisper then come to implying that we were under the influence with marijuana in our possession, no I didnt have marijuana in my possession and neither was I under the influence I know my ********** illegal to handle a firearm under the influence. As Im trying to purchase my membership Im still getting told that Im under the influence and cant shoot okay thats fine I still will like to purchase it and come back again if thats the case & in that case I did. August 29th I went to the range myself I have a monthly membership I was asked if I been to this range before I told them this is my 3rd time coming here and I am in the system, I didnt even have my membership scanned to see my information I had a manager come immediately up there as if I was causing a problem, I got told some bs policy that I never heard of in the policy I signed nor on the website my membership wasnt even scanned to see if Ive been there or anything and Im upset thats not how you handle a businessVance Outdoors, Inc. Customer came in on one day without an issue. The following day was refused service due to employees and managers feeling that the customer was under the influence of marijuana. The 29th the customer came in alone and wanted to shoot while renting a gun and a lane. Our practice is to not rent to single individuals. You will find this is common practice at shooting facilities. If customer would come in accompanied by a friend we would be happy to rent a gun/lane to the customer. We look forward to doing business in the future
