My Anchor Hocking glass baking dish literally exploded in the oven. This was a glass rectangular 9x13 dish taken from the cupboard (room temperature) and placed with food taken from the refrigerator into an oven preheated to 350 degrees. After approximately 10 minutes, I heard a loud explosion and discovered that the dish with the contents had shattered in my oven. This could have caused serious injury if it had happened when the oven door was opened. People need to be informed that this happens even when the glassware is used according to their guidelines.
