The transaction happened on March 7, 2023. The amount in total that I paid was $3,458.22. The National Auto Service, Inc. committed to provide me the service to fix my car. I dispute that they did the work correctly because in only 4 months my car is broke back down. My nephew that works on cars looked over the things that were worked on and noticed that some of the parts if not all of the parts that were replaced did not match up with what was wrote on my reciept (see attached documents following). National Auto Service wrote that they replaced parts with Dodge dealer parts and that is not what is on my car. I was charged for Dodge dealers parts and recieved a cheaper part. I was over charged for some if not all the parts that were put on my car. Without taking my car apart we could only see the parts in eye sight. The parts that were supposely fixed are the same parts that are the problem now. I really think they thought that they could get over on me because I am a lady. I guess they thought if they did the bear minimum, that my car would broke back down and I would have to bring it back to them and charge me again to get more money out of me. At this point and time I just want my money back so that I can get what is needed so I can get my car back running. With all this happening I have missed work, my daughter and I have missed doctor's appointments, and my bills are not able to be paid. NO WORK NO MONEY. If we can't found a ride we have to walk and we can't walk everywhere. So at this point and time I just want my money back so I can get the parts that I need to get my car back up and running.Business response

Business states that the customer first brought the vehicle in on December 8, 2022 and had an estimate to fix her car done. She declined the service because she didn't have the money. Consumer came back to the business and put down $1000 deposit on March 1st for the repairs. Business completed repairs and customer picked up car and car was fine. If there are issues, which the consumer has never contacted the business about anything, the work completed for the consumer is under 12,000 mile or 12 month warranty. Business states they would be happy to look at the vehicle to see if the work that is needed will fall under the warranty or give a quote to fix whatever the issue is.Customer response

the company is talking about the work they did and I'm not. I am talking about the wrong parts that were put on my car when they did the work on my car and also the fact that one of the parts they put on my car is leaking oil (view the pictures). All at the some time they charged me for a totally different part that cost more than what they put on my car. I didn't think I want they to work on my car again. they overcharged me once and I am not going to let them do it again. So if they are not willing to pay me back the difference between the parts than I will just have to not send any new business their way. i feel like I was cheated because I'm a lady. if that is the way they treat ladies then they don't need my business and not other ladies either.Initial Complaint

May 16,2023 I received my van back from National Auto Services. They were supposed to drill out the existing bolts and put my exhaust on...I purchased all the parts...I received a call that my shock was also bad so I ok'd for them to fix that. Upon the return of my vehicle..half way on the way home I smelled fumes, I got dropped off so I couldn't turn back around so i went home parked it and got back on the road. (I don't stay that far driving distance but could take me 20 minutes walking with a fast pace). The next day I went to investigate their work and found my exhaust flange cut and not drilled through and a whole in my floor. The owner 1st told me he charged me more because the could jack it up because it was a high top van when I took it back he said they know where to jack it up at and the floor rusted out.....I'm 6,1 203 pounds and the vehicle sit high enough that I don't need a jack to get under it. I have a transportation company and my fear is.if I hadn't seen it this time next year it very possible for that part to give way and I could be hel responsible....I didn't most of the work for them ...the said they could drill through it and I managed to with a house hold drill pictures included....Ford is going to charge me $200 to diagnose how much it will cost to fix what they damaged.... Everything they did reckless I could have done myself and save money and not creating permanent damage...I only went there to save time and I thought they were a good shop...and the van was on a flat bed tow truck so the tow could not have made that hole it appears to me a jack slipped because someone made a mistake. Screenshots of me crawling under the vehicle the phone number at the top is his personal cell,,,and also show the tow driver had a flatbedBusiness response

Per conversation with business, the customer brought the vehicle back to the shop for the fume/manifold issue and the shop fixed it. The shop was also hired to drill out a bolt and the consumer was told ahead of time that they might not be able to do it. Turns out they couldn't drill it, like they suspected. The complaint about the floor is not related to any work the shop performed. The shop does not use jacks, as the customer suggested this caused issues. They have a lift that they use for all vehicles.Initial Complaint

I took my car over to have it fixed. They made me file a form that said what was wrong with the car. They had me initial next to the amount for the labor and I did. They fixed something totally different than the reason I took it to get fixed. It's been there two weeks and they still haven't fixed what I asked them to fix and charged me a price I didn't agree to. I called and said I would give them a fair price for the work they did so I could get my car back, but they wouldn't accept my offer.Customer response
