      On August 14, 2022, I purchase a one-year subscription t* **** **** ****** magazine. I have not received a single issue of this publication. There has been no response to my repeated e-mails, phone calls and a letter to the editor. I realize this is a quarterly publication, but over the last 6months, I should have received at least one issue. I feel like I have fallen victim to a scam.

      our subscriber services manager contacted her and explained that because that magazine prints 4 times a year in the summer, the timing fell that she did not receive a publication. We have some lessons learned that have arisen out of this. To make sure she is satisfied with our service, we added a complimentary year to her subscription.

      Never received my September/October 2021 issue. My check was cashed for the subscription on August 5, 2021. I have been calling Subscription department and they keep giving me the song and dance that the issue is on its way. Originally, I was told that the issue was to be received by September 1st. When I called again, I was told I would receive it by September 8. I called again today, 9/10/21, and I was told that I was to receive the issue by September 9. When I said that I wanted a refund, I was told that I could only receive a partial refund because I should have received the issue. When I asked to send me a copy of the issue, I was told that they no longer have the September/October 2021 issue available. The magazine is only published 4 times a year: September/October, March, May/June, and July/August. I don't understand why I can only get a partial refund when the next issue of the magazine won't be sent out again until March 2022 and I never received the September issue.

      Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Your subscription was received after the subscriber list for our September/October 2021 issue was submitted to our mail house. Thus, you were added on to what we refer to as our supplemental mailing list for the September/October issue. Our supplemental mailings are mailed out in the middle of the month. We will be issuing you a full refund as well as offering you a complimentary one-year subscription to our publication as a make-good for the inconvenience you experienced.

      I will accept the offer that Great Lakes Publishing is offering to me as a resolution.  However, I will be watching very carefully, that Great Lakes Publishing follows through with their offer of resolution.  On another note, it would have been nice if the people in the call center had been more willing to help.  I found 4 out of the 5 that I spoke to over the last couple of weeks to be arrogant and I got the impression that I was bothering them with my concern.
