      Worst experience as a person and patient I have ever had to endure. I am giving 1 star to Metro Health because they treated me like I was a nobody like I was not a person at all. I got a Leg GSW on June 14, 2020 and I had to go to Metro. Before they did my surgery they did not shave my leg. When I got out of surgery I was there until June 18th 2020. They never changed my dressing from the surgery during my 4 days there. They also did not notice the GSW I had on the same leg on my thigh, they just left it to bleed,no cleaning. When I got home that night I was very uncomfortable and pain because I really could not move my leg even to prompt it on a pillow. Metro also never gave me antibiotics for my leg before I left the hospital. Not even 24 hours later I had to go to ********** ******** to find out the hairs on my legs was stuck with the dry and drained blood that was on the dressing. They changed my dressing and gave me antibiotics themselves. They were giving me X-rays, scheduling physical therapy and telling me that I was healing okay and that I was fine but in reality I was in pain everyday because I had a nail in my knee where the pain never stopped and I had a dent in my leg. I was on a DME and was immortalized for almost a year until I was referred from my family to get a second option because they saw how much pain I was in. I went to Cleveland Clinic for a second option. The doctor took a X-Ray and told me that I was missing a whole bone where I had a dent at and it was not going to heal by itself. Also the nail that was misused in my knee and was stopping my knee from bending was hitting a nerve and bone that’s why I was in so much pain anytime my knee bent. They had to take a piece of my bone from my hip and put it in my leg so my leg can heal right and take the nails that went straight through my knee and crisscrossed in my knee and place it where It would stop the irritation in my knee. The doctor at Metro should be held accountable for his carelessness

      I'm giving three stars because MetroHealth generally treats me well as a patient. However, my experiences on December 23rd, 2021, and on Thursday February 10th, 2022 warrant a negative review. I thought that maybe my ulna and wrist bones were broken so I went to the Ohio city brand new location where the technician and this might not have been her fault at all but she struggled for over two hours and took eight different slides that should have only requiref two or three images of my arm because something was wrong with the machine. I wouldn't even be posting that if what happened yesterday on February 10th - when I went back there to get another x-ray for another reason - hadn't also happened. I was told that the Broadway location, where I wanted to get my x-ray on my way to work later in the day, was broken. This made me wonder, what's wrong with the x-ray technology at MetroHealth? I left over 2 hours early to a lot for more than enough time for an Express Care stop at Ohio City on February 10th to get my toe x-rayed to eliminate the possibility of a fracture. I was told there was a 15-minute wait, but when I got there the line was so long it precluded me from staying and I had to leave and go to work. Before I left work, I called the main number, where I was told that as long as I arrive at an Express Care at Metro before 7:30, the staff must accept me and see me. That's not what happened, I wound up going back immediately after I left work and I arrive there at 7:15 p.m. There was more than a 15 minutes left before they were supposed to close, however, very rude, and very unsympathetic staff sent me and one other person out the door. I never got my x-ray after three tries in one day.
