On Thursday, July 13, 2023. I phoned Brake Time-AAP *********** ******* ** **** ** ****** *** ********* ******** Ohio 4411** ************. To see if tech ******* ******* would come to see what was wrong with my car. Tech came by later that day to access my car. After getting the codes he said that my vehicle needed the Thermostat/ housing to be replaced , LF tpms sensor coding/installation. It will take a few hours and the estimate of cost would be $434.00 for the repairs. I let a few days passed exactly on July 20, 2023 I contacted Brake Time by sending a text message stating that I really needed my car serviced, how long would it take and if he took payment plans or what other methods did he offer for customers who didn’t have all the money upfront. Kennard sent a text stating As far as payment plans I use afterpay and snap finance. @exactly 1:35 pm , Kennard phoned me he went over both after pay and snap finance options more in detail with me & sent over the link to Snap finance. I was approved and car was set to be repaired on July 22 in the morning. Merchant never repaired my vehicle made charges to the snap account. On 7/23/23 made several calls (7) to brake time to for any updates on getting my vehicle serviced. After I sent a text stating Call me so I can know what's up and if I will need to go elsewhere to get my vehicle repaired that accepts snap financing. Kennard phoned seconds later being very disrespectful, unprofessional, unethical, rude and being very ignorant and told me to just take my car elsewhere and hung up on me. I just want to resolve this matter by reversing the charges back to to snap finance so I can take my vehicle elsewhere for repairs.Business response

On July 23, 2023 the customer became very irate and belligerent. ****** was upset due to the fact that I had informed her Sunday is not normal business operating hours. The customer cursed me out and became very violent, she sent several verbally abusive text messages and left a voice message threating to kill me. I advised the customer that she would need to go to another service repair facility due to her behavior. She was so aggressive I had to get the police involved and file a report. The customer was issued a refund of $237.65 via counter check that can not be canceled. I was advised of this by a snap employee. The customer was charged for check engine light diagnostic at $125.00, shop supply fee $25.00, parts restocking fee on returned items $35.60, and $10.00 in sales tax. The check was mailed via usps certified with a tracking * **** **** **** **** ***0 Pay to the order of ****** Winfield. The customer is no longer to have any contact with me or my business. I have attached a copy of the messages she sent to me as well as an audio clip of the voicemail. Thank you, I can be reached at the business phone ************ ** ** ** **** ***** *************
