      AWFUL NASTY PEOPLE! I purchased a vehicle here only for the sake of my daughter who was so excited & eager to get her 1st car. The day we rolled the car off the lot the check engine light came on, and after that was just a cascade of unfortunate events with this car. Anytime the car would tear up I would take it to the mechanic of their choice, and was always told whatever issue the car had I had to pay for out of pocket they don’t cover it. We had the car from July 22-Feb 23. It broke down and Dale sent a tow truck to get it, fixed the issue and I PAID for it out of my pocket, 1 month later the motor blew up n I called Dale he pretty much told me I’m on my own, I call Portage to tell them come get this car we are done, the lady was like well I have to talk to Dale, 1 month later they finally get the car. Then turned me over to a lawyer saying we blew the motor up (yet we always had that car at the garage) and that they had to INVOLUNTARILY reposses it yet I TOLD THEM to come get it we are done! I didn’t have the money to fight them in court and they got a default judgment against me and are now garnishing my wages. Jokes on y’all I filed bankruptcy so you don’t get squat come next week! They should be put out of business! There are 2 men named Dale there and they are both nasty mean men who enjoy taking advantage of women. Karma will get the best of y’all loan sharks.

      I bought a car and had it a few weeks before I was hit at a red light and the car was totaled due to year make and model. The insurance paid 5,000 and I still owed 7,000 on the car. I was set up on weekly payments even though I told them my pay was biweekly. After it was totaled I told them I could only pay every 2 weeks. I am being charged late payments on top of the 7,000. They said they could get me into another car no problem, then said I owed too much even with the 5,000 payment from insurance and they could not put me into another vehicle and if I don't pay I would be taken to court for wage garnishment even though I have never missed a payment. Then they tell me they can't adjust my payments to every 2 weeks as well. I still pay them every 2 weeks 240.00 and still owe 5,000. How I that possible cause they refuse to work with me on late fees and they continue to get money from me in fear of going to court. This has also affected my credit score due to late fees and penalties that never should have been applied in the first place.

      Never and I mean never get a car from this place you will regret it I promise you. Can't understand how they are still in business

      I bought a car less than a month ago and while signing the paperwork I was also on the phone getting it insured. Being a Saturday the insurance company sent the cards via fax and the guy said that's good and will turn in with paper work. Also told me I had 7 days of coverage with them so before the month is up I paid balance of down payment and next month payment thinking I'm good until September. 4 days after payment was due that I'd already made I get a email to call them this is on a Thursday while I'm at work telling me they need proof of insurance or my car will be disabled the next day. Friday I go to insurance company and there closed so I email the girl and let her know that until Monday I can't get up there until there office is open. She basically says tuff luck and she called the insurance company and there open so I better get there quick. I live 2 hours away from the agent she called and I'm a hour and half to there office from my home. She doesn't care so now my car is shut down when the guy should have told me the insurance card itself isn't acceptable or while she was calling should have at least confirm my insurance and gave me until Monday to make the haul up there to bring them the paperwork. Plus they say I owe $400 on top of $564.65 car payment for using there insurance plus the $1,800 down payment
