I rented 2 phones from the Wilmington, Ohio store. Paid $75 to get them on March 16, 2022. I then lost my job a week later. My first payment wasn't due til March 19, 2022. I am 2 weeks behind today April 7, 2022. They started harassing me and my references April 1st, 2022. Threatening and cussing at me in a voice-mail. I have tried to explain what happened multiple times and told them I wanted to get caught up on what I am behind for a week now. They just keep harassing and threatening me and my references. I will try to take what I'm behind in tomorrow April 8th, 2022 and if they deny payment then they are at fault for breaking the contract. I will also be contacting an attorney for harassment and threats.

Not making your first payment after receiving the merchandise is considered a first payment default and while we are always willing to try to work out a plan that best suits our customers, I have reviewed your account and see that we still haven't received a payment for merchandise still in your possession. It is our stores' duty to pursue either payment or return of merchandise that can't be paid for so phone calls and house visits shouldn't be considered harassment but we always expect our employees to do this with respect and professionalism so if you are able to provide proof of the foul language and threats, we would greatly appreciate it. In the meantime, however, we will need our merchandise returned or other actions will be considered in order to retrieve it because keeping something without paying for it is considered stealing.
