Upon purchasing new golf clubs I entered in a drawing to win a $589 ****** ******** ***** gift card. I received a confirmation email stating: Dear ***** ** ******** Congratulations on your purchase of a ******** driver! You have qualified for a chance to win a $586 ****** ******** ***** gift card by picking the winner of the U.S. Open. This email is to notify you that your receipt and player pick have been successfully submitted. At the conclusion of the tournament on June 20th, all winners will be notified via email with additional details. Thank you for choosing ******** **** and good luck! ******** Pro Picked to Win *** **** All player selections are final and cannnot be changed Links Unlimited on behalf of ******** **** Customer Care: ###-###-#### I picked the correct golfer and won, now they're saying I submitted my entry to late and will not honor my gift card even though it clearly states above that I qualified for the gift card and that my entry was successfully submittedBusiness response

Mr. ******** submitted his entry for the promotion after the submission deadline of 9:00 PM PST on June 16, 2021 posted on the entry site. Although his entry was successfully submitted, when verifying his entry, Mr. ******** was disqualified for not meeting the deadline criteria. Links Unlimited is a fulfillment partner for the promotion and the verification process is carried out through another company who determines eligibility. In the conditions of the program, under Winner Determination, it states that the potential winner is “subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of the Official Rules.” So although we understand Mr. ********’s complaint, we are unable to make any changes to the outcome. However, we do focus on continual improvement, and will work to ensure that in future promotions, no submissions can be placed after the cutoff date to avoid confusion.
