I had my things in a storage unit. I got behind on my payments. I received a letter about it and contacted them. I was told by **** ****** that we could work something out. He said I could have a couple of weeks to figure out what I can do. If he didn't hear from me, he would call me. I contacted him within the time frame, requesting a total because I had money to pay my account off, but he never responded.
He then allowed all of my items to be removed from my units and some things were sold before I even knew they were missing, let alone where they were. I figured out through social media where they were and some things had been sold less than a week prior to my noticing my things were missing, with the rest of my things scheduled to sell tomorrow. I have tried to contact **** multiple times and he will not get back with me. Most of the things in my storage units were things from my deceased family members, family heirlooms, things from mine and my children's childhood. These are all things that cannot be replaced.

I am truly sorry that things did not work out for Elizabeth. Unfortunately she became significantly past due on her account, over 9 months. I notified her of pending actions and she indicated she would stay in touch and make payment soon. Another month and a half passed without any contact from her. After multiple attempts to contact her for payment she could not be reached. Unfortunately we are a small veteran run business and do not have the ability to go months and months without payment.Business response

I understand Ms. ***** is not happy with the response but I fear there is not response that will satisfy her. As stated previously in the response her account was significantly overdue and she was made aware of the situation. I last spoke with her on 9 Sep 2021 and she indicated she would work with me (stay in contact and make a payment). I tried to reach Ms. ***** multiple times after that and prior to her units being cleared out. After no contact since 9 Sep the units were cleared out the second week of Nov. I passed on auction information to Ms. ***** to allow her the opportunity to reclaim available items. I would like to add that our business does not have dedicated office space and we perform the majority of our transactions on-line. Ms. ***** had access to her account the entire time and the ability to make payments. Per the attached invoice you can see that numerous late fees were waived to help her out and that the last payment made was in Feb of 2021. While I am saddened that this is the end result I believe that 9 months grace period was more than fair and equatable.Customer response

These are lies. I have proof that I was contacting you and it also shows that you read my messages. I contacted you on September 30 requesting a total because I was going to pay it in full the very next day. You ignored me. You read my message and said nothing. You did not try to contact me, like you keep saying.
