Terrible dealership to get involved with. That's why I do not buy from anyone in Canton. These people were to give my daughter the receipts as to what all they did to her car and how they fixed it when ********** sent it to them. Come to find out from several different people, they all never fixed it because the check engine light was shut off and they could never find out what was wrong with it. Then these people tried to get her into another car (just like the previous dealership) knowing she's young and tried to take advantage of her. Then she got me involved, in which, I had good credit, for me to co-sign for her, or put down some kind of deposit down, I said if you ask 2 banks and you don't get a loan for her and I, do not do anymore inquires for anyone else. They did 8 inquiries on my daughter, and 6 inquiries on me. How disrespectful is that? Now I have 6-hard inquiries on my credit that will take 2 years plus to get off. A Buick that still has the check engine light on and still has issues. That no one will fix right! Can't be honest with their customers what so ever. I believe and feel they are in cahoots with each other just to keep doing this to people. I will never trust anyone these people in fixing her car and would never recommend anyone to purchase a car from these places.Review from At A

Mike Riley is an awesome guy. Had a great shopping experience with him. Would have liked to get a little more for my trade but wouldn't we all! Realized the day after purchasing, an issue with the passenger mirror, contacted Mike & long story short, he took care of getting the problem fixed & made sure I had a loaner. While the drive to the dealership was over an hour for me, I would gladly make the trip there for another purchase.Review from Kevin S

I shopped for a vehicle at Ron Marhofer North Canton. I found a vehicle at Ron Marhofer North Canaan. I had a trade-in for the new vehicle which they said was taken care of after taking delivery on the new vehicle. I got a call six days later, stating there’s a problem, we made a mistake on the payoff we did not make enough on the payoff Mr. customer you are going to be responsible for the rest of it, even though we made the mistake, their solution was for me to pay off the rest of the vehicle or add the rest of that balance to my loan which would increase my payment or give the vehicle back in so they forced my hand to give the vehicle back, they did come up with a small solution they would pay 50 percent of the remainder balance of the truck and I would pay the other half totally unacceptable since you made a mistake and you’re not honoring anything. So buyers beware make sure they’re financial people do everything they are supposed to be doing because they definitely dropped the ball on this one and one of the customer to figure it out which I think is wrong. ***** *****Review from Lee S

I have been trying to get ahold of ANYONE at this dealership since April 10th 2023. It is now June 21st and still no response. All I need is information on getting a refund on my extended warranty. I sold the car I bought from Ron Marhofer in Stow Ohio and want the refunded amount from the warranty. I have called so many time...always left voice messages. I sent an email to the manager of the dealership..2 weeks ago and counting...still no response. Horrible horrible customer service!!!Ron Marhofer Auto, Inc. Response

I have to say this is the worse customer experience I've ever had, called for availability of a silverado truck spoke to Rick he says yes its available, I ask if he can place a hold on it ,he says yes but I would have to file a credit check before , I say ok , I fill out applications and since it was for a business I had to give him all my banking information...I tried reaching out to him a few times after, with no response. After a hour he calls me back saying the truck has a pending sale and they are very sorry. Now they have all my banking info and I have a credit inquiry for no **** reason. Smh these guys don't give a **** about anyone's credit or anything else that don't benefit the.Ron Marhofer Auto, Inc. Response

I had purchased a Chey Silverado 1500 with 27000 miles on it which had a fuel pump replaced before I purchased it, and bad leaf springs, serious vibration, thumping in the rear and bad tires were found after I purchased it. The 30 day warranty had expired before taking it to a service department and Ron Marhofer refussed to accept the responsibility for the problems saying the 30 day warrenty was up. The vibration was proven to be in the drivetrain which was still under factory warranty but they refuesed to accept that the drive train was the cause. They insisted it was the tires, though the tires were in excellent condition. I bit the bullet and bought new tires and the vibration still persisted. I sued them in small claims court and their lawyers stated since they had not been the provider of the new tires they therefore could not evaluate the results so it did not make them responsible for the vibration. When it was first brought to their attention with the probability of a transfer case problem causing the vibration, they stated the fluid in the transfer case would have to be replaced to keep from having the factory warranty rejected (which in itself sounds illegal). They told me it should be replaced every 25000 miles (the truck only had 27000 on it at the time) which was a lie. It only needed replaced at 45000 miles. I pointed that out to them and they only charged me 1/2 price. They changed the fluid illegally and srtill charged me for it. They actually owned the car when it went passed 25000 miles. The story is much more detailed but but the conclusion is that after the sale Ron Marhofer will not support its customers and even lie to support their bottom line of profit. I would highly recommend buying your cars and trucks from another dealer who is honest and cares about their customers rather than finding every excuse to squeeze money from its aftersale customers.
