In process of selling my house, I hired ASI to identify the septic system to fulfill the requirement of the county. I knew nothing about the process or the company other than the company was listed as an approved contractor for the required service. Upon inspection, the ASI employee said they were unable to do the complete inspection due to pump outlet pipe diameter. Employee stated they would file their report with the county and the county would respond directly to me. There was no other correspondence from ASI until within a week ahead of scheduled closing when my realtor contacted them for information. 3 days before scheduled closing (2 full weeks after the initial visit) ASI generated an estimate for the work they say is necessary to complete the inspection. When I called to schedule the inspection and insisted that their delays should be considered in their scheduling process, and asked to speak with the owner, ******* hung up on me.Business response

We reached out to **** to determine how we could best work together to maintain his confidence in our organization. A service call was scheduled and completed on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at his property. We believe that **** seemed satisfied with the services and repairs. He remitted full payment for the work and the property documentation for repairs was released to **** and transmitted to the appropriate regulatory agency. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with **** and we hope that we were able to preserve a good customer relationship with him.Customer response

Better Business
ASI contacted me and made reasonable accommodations for my specific needs. I am very pleased with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone.
I appreciate having the BBB as a resource and third party organization that is available to help consumers in difficult situations.
Ultimately, after a bit of confusion ASI was diligent in providing the service I needed. They made special efforts to satisfy my needs and earned my appreciation.
I spoke with them about my experience and I would use them again in the future.
