Filing on my elderly, mother’s behalf, **** ******** My mother came into the Belpre furniture store to buy mattresses and a head board, after leaving the store, she realized she could not afford $3500 for mattresses and a headboard. We called two days later to cancel the order. The sales rep whose name is Allen said it was a special order and could not be canceled. I asked what was special about it since they had mattresses in store what was special about the headboard and he stated that they didn’t have that color headboard in stock. I said it wasn’t being made or designed by someone to make it special, she didn’t sign anything that said it was a special order. The sales rep Allen was very indignant, and very rude to my mother and myself when talking to him. I stated to him that I was going to file a complaint with a BBB and he said go ahead, didn’t matter to him. I explained to him how my mother is taking chemo treatments, and because of all the stress she broke out with shingles terribly bad. She’s been to the ER twice and to an eye specialist. that did not matter to him whatsoever. Please help my mother get this resolved. BC
