Date of transaction: 5/25/2021 Amount: $1513 (50% deposit paid) Designer Accents committed to installing blinds on July 13, 2021. We had canceled appointments with alternative providers on the basis of Design Accents' ability to meet this date. After the order was placed we emphasized the importance of the installation date on multiple occasions with Linette, the Residential Sales Manager. On July 13th she informed us that the order would ship on July 19th and confirmed the installation for July 23rd. On July 19th, she emailed to inform us that the shipment was now delayed to mid-August and that they were unilaterally canceling the order. Additionally - during the course of the last few weeks we asked specifically for the store manager (John) to call us, so that we could emphasize the importance of our target delivery date, and he could explain what steps were being taken with the manufacturer to ensure this. He never returned our calls.Business response

Rather than dispute Mr. *******'s claims line by line. I did speak to him when he reached out. Further we refunded his deposit, please see below for our internal receipt of the refund. Additionally at this point Mr. ******* is unwilling to acknowledge there were supply chain issues which caused his product to be delayed. Further in our conversation he told me he would withdraw his complaint to the BBB after speaking to me. I am sure his next step is to leave a poor review on google or some other site.
Thank you for your time yesterday. I am hopeful this resolved the issue.
