Purchased 2014 **** Focus SE from Auto Central Sales **** located at *********************************** on 7-5-2021. Purchased the car used, "As Is" with a 90 day warranty and a Powertrain Plus Coverage. Two weeks after purchase, the car (which has an automatic transmission) began jerking when I accelerated the speed. Took it back to dealer & was told that that the transmission clutch was slipping and they don't repair that. But the car had a 10 yr 100 K mile warranty on transmission. take to ****** and they stated that the warranty was only for 7 yrs and it was up March 2021. Contacted dealer again and informed what ****** stated and ********************* (owner) said that was wrong, it's covered. I don't drive very much, car is kept in garage. Had to drive in rain, windshield leaked, Went back to dealer and mechanic he fixed *********** ****** injector. I was told they don't fix windshields. My warranty isn't up until Oct 5. the dealer will only fix what he wants. I need these repaired .Business response

The BBB was advised by the business that the car was purchased as-is, but since it was over $5,000 they purchased a 90 day warranty through a company called GWC for the consumer. Consumer was told that internal transmission problems are not repaired on site, but was referred to ****** Ford. The transmission control module does need replaced, which will be covered under ****** manufacturer warranty. If that does not resolve the problem, then the powertrain warranty the business purchased for him through GWC will cover the necessary repairs. The business states that they have made fixes on wiring issues for the alternator, which they did free of charge. They do not repair windshields, but offered to have a company come out and offered to split the cost with him. The business did say that the consumer's 90 day warranty will expire soon, probably 10/5/2021, so the consumer does need to get this taken care of quickly.
