My name is ****** and I went to them about a year ago to get a tune up they charge for it and then the check engine light was on as well after the tune up, ask if we wanted to just past a e check and I told him I want to get it all the way fixed that should have been the first red flag that they don’t do work correctly !!! Then when I got my jeep back it didn’t pass e check which means they didn’t fix what they was suppose to. I took it back because of the engine light came on as well, they proceeded to tell me I need a new engine and it will cost me 10000 plus labor i didn’t know what to do so I got a second opinion then he told me that they change two of my wires so I call auto clinic to see why they only changed two wires in a tune up he try to tell me I only paid for a half of a tune up at this point I was confused because who pays for a half of a tune up I just want my money back for the poor work them misleading me and also I’ve charging me for work they didn’t do.

My Name is ************************* I am a Disabled Veteran Who took my Brother's Car to get a Fuel Pump installed and They Did Abousoulty Nothing and I mean Nothing At first ***** said he had to buy a Fuel Pump Lock Ring and I explained that wasn't necessary but would pay anyway but he never even took the old one out saying that the new one was Defective and Charged me a Hundred and 50 Dollars I told him I needed it to go to the VA but 2 days later he picked me up Returned the Car and Just Plain and Simple Ripped me off And also Told me more than once How Fair he Was. My advice is to Stay Away from Them. I don't believe anyone else deserves to be Treated as I Was. I am Definitely thinking about Taking Him ***** to Civil Court and be accountable for His Actions.Akron Auto Clinic LLC Response

****** asked us to replace a fuel pump that he brought to us. We did a free inspection and told him the cost to replace it. We recommended getting a new lock ring because the old one is plastic and they never seal properly after repairs. We told him it would take a day to get, he agreed to wait but before the part came in, he called back and insisted we replace it without the lock ring. We went to replace the fuel pump only to find the fuel pump he supplied was damaged/defective out of the box. I charged him only for the time we had into doing the repair, which was less than what we quoted initially and he got the car back in the time frame we quoted.Customer Response

Lying did ********** Nothing and he Knows it he stole my money and I want it Back he is ********** a Thief and like I told him if he believes what he did was Fair I would pay him but after realizing he didn't do nothing I am ******.Review from Scott S

Took my car there because there was coolant leaking from my engine they told me the engine was blown so I sold it to them for scrap. Well they actually sold my car to one of the mechanic who works there and has my car running little did they know he lives down the road from me so now I see my old car that had a “blown engine” parked in his drive way they lie an are immoral I’ve done thousands of dollars of business there and I will never go back. I even called the shop to ask them what they did with my car and the guy on the phone got all defensive like they knew they did something wrong.Akron Auto Clinic LLC Response

We did not lie to *** *******, the engine does have a blown head gasket. We tested it with the carbon tester, the bubble under load test, the smell and visual test. This test is important , because the last thing you want to do is spend a lot of money trying to stop a coolant leak only to have it continue to over heat and eventual loose the engine. We explained to *** ******* the expense of doing head gasket repair is necessary and is costly. We bought *** ********* car and intended to sell it as scrap, but one of our technicians asked to pay the scrap price so he could drive it short distances and eventually scrap it himself. He then put stop leak/block sealer and continues to add coolant. He can only drive it short distances and adds coolant periodically. He will only be able to do this for a little while, maybe a little longer, but this car will not last. When *** ****** called us to complained, we tried to explain this to him , but did not have the opportunity. We tried calling back but he will not answer or return our calls.
