Purchased stove 9/23 had issues with stove was told to extend chimney pipes, did that continued having problems with back draft. Called business on 1/18/24 after house filled with smoke and was lied to and was told an owner was available and was told the person on the phone was a sales person and then told he was half owner. The other was a silent partner. Have had issues with stove since started using it. Tried call *********** and a recording stated the number is not available to take calls.Initial Complaint

Measurements were provided for an electric fireplace insert to the associate in store. We were advised they had what we needed in stock to fit the measurements we provided. After paying and signing we were then told it was not in stock they had to get it to their store, it had actually been ordered by someone else who provided the wrong measurements and it would not work for them. That was a concern but we were re-assured the product was unopened and only in their technicians possession. After 3 weeks the stove was ready and picked up. Immediately it was clear the product was too small. 3 days later with an unopened box we attempted to return the product in the store. We were told we signed the contract they would not return. They provided the wrong product for the measurements we gave them. They still will not return for a refund. We have been lied to, bait and switched into signing a contract and purchased a product that we trusted would fit the specs since the sellers should be the knowledgeable enough to do when making a sale. The business made the mistake yet refuses to take accountability and make it right. There are multiple Yelp reviews with similar experiences of bait and switch tactics being used by this business. They should be evaluated and audited, in particular for their poor ethical and moral business practices.
