      5/9/22 verity van lines packed our furniture and household goods and for an extra charge packed &were supposed to unpack our fragile stemware,other ******* and a 65Samsung tv. The charge for this move from ********** *** to ********** fla was$10,682.39. On delivery 5/16/22 verity could not place the tv on the unit because they did not know where they packed the legs &wires We were told they would be back once these pieces were found.After 5 days of daily ignored emails we were instructed to get a handyman to help.once placed the tv screen was found to be damaged and unrepairable. When unpacked 3 pieces of ******* had fractured bases along with a ******* ***** The triple dresser and armoire doors (bed room furniture) were misaligned and cannot be closed properly.An antique chair was mishandled & ruined. A carousel coffee table base was damaged.1/2 of our furniture was placed in a storage unit box on box and the pieces are not visible to evaluate.Under duress we signed for delivery even though we were not given the opportunity to evaluate because the movers were not going to open the cartons.Verity has absolved themselves of any responsibility.

      I am very disappointed to learn that that that the Weinbergs were not completely satisfied with our service.  It seems that some of the dissatisfaction related to their **.  We were not able to install the ** as the wires and legs were packed separately.   We had notified ********************* by email that our driver was going to back in her area between June 1 and June 11. He would set the ** up for her at that time.  We had a constant and prompt email correspondence with ********************* throughout the whole moving process. She was never ignored.

      ********************* seemed to be dissatisfied with the settlement offer made by our claims adjuster.  Based on my review of the documents and correspondence, it is clear that a settlement offer was made in accordance with govenrment guidelines and our contract.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      The information provided by Verity is incorrect.  They NEVER gave us a date as to when their movers would return to lift and place this65Samsung tv.  At delivery on May 16 2022, they placed the tv on the floor of our living room,leaning it against the unit on which it should have been placed.  They could not locate the legs and wires.  These were not packed as they should have been with the tv.  After 5 consecutive days of unanswered emails requesting the date they would return, we finally received an email from Verity telling us to hire a handyman to help lift and place the tv.  They also told us where to find the legs and wires.  If they knew this in **,  why didnt they didnt know this at time of delivery while inside our apartment?  They claim no responsibility because a third party helped lift and place the tv exactly as verity suggested.  Verity has also absolved themselves of responsibility for breakage of various pieces of crystal ********* vases, and the destruction of an Antique chair.  All these these fragile items were packed by Verity at extra charges paid to Verity.  Half of our shipment was delivered to a storage unit.  These items have not been examined nor do we know if everything has been delivered in goods condition or at all. We, under duress, were forced to sign off on all delivered items prior to examination.  They offered$100 to settle the claim.

      I hired Verity to move me from ***********, ** to ********. My house contents were picked up August 11,2021 and stored in *******, ** for 2 1/2 months until Verity delivered the contents to my new home in DE on November 2,2021. Storage was $528 a month.The major damage was to an antique 3 tier pie crust table. The support foot was smashed either in moving or storage. I was told of the damage by the delivery men. My problem was that when I inspected the table there was further damage to the support stem of the table. Verity not only broke the table but attempted to camouflage the damage by wrapping the stem with clear plastic packing tape. Had they not also broken the foot, they would have assembled the table and NEVER told me of the damage to the stem support. I would have only discovered it when I went to move the table and THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN GONE. Verity employees also stole garden implements from a clean plastic garbage can in which they were placed and they were loaded onto the moving truck. They stole a pole tree trimmer, garden spade, Christmas light hanging pole, 50 foot garden hose, rake and lawn leaf bags. They emptied the garbage can which I know for sure in that there were also 4 metal garden heron statues in the can and two of them were broken. The broken pieces were NOT in the garbage can as they should have been.I have been in contact with Verity until May 2022 with regard to the claim for damage. Their first offer was $200 and their last offer of April 22,2022 was for $325. They continually claim that I must be responsible for a $250 deductible. This might be acceptable for simply a move but they stored my items for 2 1/2 months but did not secure them. They had a fiduciary responsibility to safeguard my items. They also attempted to CAMOUFLAGE the damage with the packing tape. My original claim asked for $604.94. The table is not repairable. I sent Verity all the requested documents.Verity has not replied to my letter of 5/10/22
