On January 24, 2023 at Nunn's Home medical Equipment, I overheard someone in their 817 E. Genesee St, Syracuse, New York location say that they hate poor people. This occurred after I declined to give them debit card information and emergency contact references, since I had 100% insurance coverage. Other online reviews noted a similar debit card request and noted unwarranted charges, despite being covered 100%. Nunn's already tried to obtain that information from me about a week prior to my appointment. Nunn's then called me and stated that they were waving those requirements for me, and they scheduled my appointment. Nunn's also said that I could not sign their paperwork in paper form. They said I had to fill out their forms electronically, then they would print me a copy. I also declined to complete the PHI, Protected Health Information. I wrote out a statement to that affect and had someone who said she's the manager. After almost two hours of waiting, they claimed they could not print off the electronic documents that they said I had to complete and sign first. They said I could leave what I do not consent to blank. Since they never printed those documents and gave them to me, nor mailed them to me, after I said mail them to me, and overheard a worker saying, "she doesn't need them", I do not know if what I filled out electronically was left exactly as I filled it. I absolutely do not recommend this business!
