Paid the Funeral Home ($6800) Cash on 10/19/2023 and the Insurance Company also paid on 10/13/2020 ( $6572.28) and now I’m having problems getting my money back from the Funeral Home . He gave me a check which it bounced .I have been in contact with the owner and He’s been telling me to come pick up my money and when I go he’s not there. Now when I call him he has me on the block List on his phone. I have left several messages for him and he’s not responding.Initial Complaint

I've been waiting for the remains on my brother ashes I was promised to urn and I'm still waiting for it and my brother still sitting at the funeral home I paid all the money I have proof of receipts and contract and all they're doing is giving me the runaround this establishment is very unprofessional my brother did not look nothing like himself in that casket the funeral home did not even provide the proper services I was promised and paid for I should be reimbursed half of my money back because the services was very unprofessional and I'm still waiting for the remains of my brother and no one there knows what's going on I keep getting a phone tag all around different people promise to get called back and no one ever calls me back if need any other documents let me knoBusiness response

Who is the deceased? and secondly, how were we unprofessional? everything that we did was paid for along with things that we do for free. as far as a deceased person, somethimes they dont resemble themselves because they are DEAD.
NOBODY JUST HOLDS PEOPLES ASHES, ONCE THEY ARE CREMATED THEY ARE HERE AT THE FUNERAL HOME, ALONG WITH THE OTHER 25 UNCLAIMED ASHES.
WE MAKE CALLS BUT WE ARE NOT GOING TO KEEP CALLING SOMEONE TO PICK UP ASHES. THERE IS NO REFUND BEING GIVEN BECAUSE THERE WAS NOTHING THAT REQUOIRES IT

I'm still waiting on death certificate from them and there not returning my call or text and there services is awful unprofessional never again this place will never again see my business and I'm definitely going to proceed with filing a complaint with the state to have them investigated I believe they're very fraudulent there and very unprofessional whatever else you need from me let me know and I can upload anything u needBusiness response

I dont know who the deceased person is to even help him.
2. The death certificates are provided by the Office of Vital Records, at *** ** ********* **.
if he paid us to retrieve one, we have changed our policy an we can refund the amount paid of the death certificate which is 30.00 if in fact they have paid us.

Paid for Cremation service. Did not receive what we paid for & was not appropriately informed on who what when where afterwards. Was ignored. Did not receive: Limo service, Full time Paid for, Obituary with photo or bookmarks and wasn't informed about Cremation process. Was ignored. Asked about purchasing a Urn. They don't sell them but didn't inform me that I needed to purchase my own and bring it for the service. Calls were ignored while checking in on the process. Wasn't informed how long or what the next steps were. Was treated like Nobody's. Very disappointing and to be treated like that during this timeBusiness response
