Don’t even deserve one star. Signed up in March. This is now Sept 2021 and they just got done. We have a very small patio that we just wanted resurfaced. Did not do a very good job. No one ever came to inspect the work. Would not recommend them. Bare spots on the patio.

We are sorry for your bad experience- I reviewed everything and yes it did take some time to get your project due to weather and materials. We are very sorry about the time it took. I reviewed all the communication and updates, and everything seemed appropriate other than the lack of time, based on the weather and materials, which is stated in the contract. I have the contract being received in April of 2021, not March. In addition, there was a minor project issue with a product, but the team took the extra time and product at our cost to complete. Unfortunately, sometimes this happens. I have the technicians notes about inspecting and communicating and the last visit taking care of the punch list that we received with Mr. ******, and he verified everything was good. We are sorry to hear if it is unsatisfactory, please call us ###-###-#### if there are still any outstanding issues, we will happily take care of them, as well as your project has a warranty. So please do contact us so we can wrap up any issues and get your project satisfactory. Thanks.

This is the WORST company to hire for any type of concrete job! Not even worth 1 star!!! We hired this company to install a stamped concrete patio. We gave them half down to start the job, 5k. There employees caused several damage to our home, including our new siding, our basketball court, cement from the actual lower part of the siding and gutters, left garbage laying around and did not clean up after themselves till after I placed several calls of complaints to the company. The contract states the job included footers, mesh and rebar support, steps to sliding door of house and steps to the garage. They were to install a pop-out for the drain as well. The contract also said they were supposed to dig at least 6 inches and then add gravel. The concrete patio was not dug up not even 1 inch. Steps to the sliding door were never installed and the only reason why i have a step going into the garage is because the day of the concrete pour, I stated where are my steps so they immediately added one step into the garage. Footers were never installed. After the concrete was poured, we found mesh leaning against the fence which was supposed to be laid out and not completed. The company's contractor ended up taking the mesh (which i have pictures of). The patio is now way over 6-8 inches off the ground and looks like a floating deck. The patio is discolored and has weird lines, and some cracking has begun. The patio was not sealed or cleaned till almost 2 weeks after the initial pour. Total negligence and no one from the company has been over except the original salesperson, Dan. The owner, according to Dan, Eric L****** has not shown his face or even offer a call or apology. Again, the salesperson Dan is the only one to show face at our house. Not to mention, the job was never completed. The pop-out drain never got filled with topsoil, just an empty whole. There are spaces underneath where you can literally put your fingers under the concrete slab. There is dirt and soil missing all around the patio that was supposed to be filled. The best part is the contractor asked us for additional money to remove the debris and garbage saying the company did not include that into the contract, so we paid him $400 to remove their garbage. Now they are seeking full payment of the other half. The concrete was poured on July 15th. I receive a phone call today stating that they will offer us a $500 credit for the mishandling and negligence of their contractor. That is a complete joke. I have now received quotes to finish the job with other companies since this company is not capable of completing the job and I no longer want any of their employees on my property. The lack of respect from this company is a joke. They have left me no choice but to take this to court. I have ring video, our own personal videos and over 50 pictures of the crap they installed. I have even shared these pictures and videos with their salesperson Dan. I will contact their bondsman and whomever else from NYS to make sure that this company does not do this to another homeowner.

We are sorry for your experience. We will respond below to the information provided to assure accuracy and -Homeowner-This is the WORST company to hire for any type of concrete job! Not even worth 1 star!!! We hired this company to install a stamped concrete patio. We gave them half down to start the job, Standard is collecting half the project up front, this is normal for our policy -Homeowner- There employees caused several damage to our home, including our new siding, our basketball court, cement from the actual lower part of the siding and gutters, In this instance yes- there was a truck delivery of stone, and concrete, and in so unfortunate instances items can be damaged. Any damage, we are more the willing to take care of. If caused by the concrete company or stone deliver, with policy in place, we will help get these items taken care of. Even if the damaging party would not take care of it, we still will. When performing concrete of this nature it is a construction site and yes damage can happen, but we are always more then happy to take care of it. That is also why so much insurance is covered. If anything remains unfixed, please let us know so we can take care of it. left garbage laying around and did not clean up after themselves till after I placed several calls of complaints to the company. Yes this was noted and discussions were had with everyone in regards to our standards, and extra team was sent out to do some extra clean up above and beyond. -Homeowner-The contract states the job included footers, mesh and rebar support, steps to sliding door of house and steps to the garage. They were to install a pop-out for the drain as well. The contract also said they were supposed to dig at least 6 inches and then add gravel. Site inspections for contracts and what actually happens per the Mason sometimes vary. In this case the stone was brought in, in lieu of footers, we installed thicker concrete and much thicker edges. This was explained to the homeowner and approved. The drain was not in the contract and added by the customer which the mason installed for them. -Homeowner-The concrete patio was not dug up not even 1 inch. Steps for the sliding door were not included in this contract, once reviewed with homeowner, homeowner confirmed they would install wood steps to slider. The footers were discussed earlier and the recommended install was discussed with homeowner and approved. The mesh was installed properly, along with additional microfiber mesh to the concrete. The extra mesh along the fence was for another job and delivered to this job site for the mason to take to the next one. -Homeowner-The company's contractor ended up taking the mesh (which i have pictures of). Yes this was the for another job, as mentioned earlier. -Homeowner-The patio is now way over 6-8 inches off the ground and looks like a floating deck. The patio is discolored and has weird lines, and some cracking has begun. The patio was not sealed or cleaned till almost 2 weeks after the initial pour. The patio heights and elevations were reviewed with homeowner and approved. In certain instances, patios need to be at certain elevations, this means after the project is completed the homeowner is recommended to bring in clean fill and slope to the adjoining yard, we do provide this service, but was not included in the contract. The patio is not discolored and looks like stamp concrete should, a base color, and accent color with the stamp. The patio is not cracked during our last time out there, and with the exception of some minor surface stress cracks, which are normal and mentioned in the contract, this is a solid, beautiful looking project. Yes, two weeks after the job is perfectly normal time frame for us finish the project, with the concrete being thicker, we recommend curing time of 2 to 3 weeks extra, this is a completely normal and recommended practice. Total negligence and no one from the company has been over except the original salesperson, Dan. The owner, according to Dan, Eric L****** has not shown his face or even offer a call or apology. We are a corporation, Eric L has a different job role, customer care is taken care by different employees once a project is complete . Again, the salesperson Dan is the only one to show face at our house. -Homeowner-Not to mention, the job was never completed. The pop-out drain never got filled with topsoil, just an empty whole. This was an added piece to the project that the mason did no the side, were are more then happy to refund the money paid for this and still fill it with proper fill. This was expressed to home owner by salesperson. There are spaces underneath where you can literally put your fingers under the concrete slab. There is dirt and soil missing all around the patio that was supposed to be filled. Fill after the project is on the homeowner responsibility as explained to the home owner, this was not part of the contract. -Homeowner-The best part is the contractor asked us for additional money to remove the debris and garbage saying the company did not include that into the contract, so we paid him $400 to remove their garbage. This was the Mason, it is always proper to check with the office first before giving out money, the Mason has had a discussion/refresher on what is appropriate. We understand this and offered a full refund of the additional $400.00 plus additional coupons for the inconvenience. We also sent out the other team to do additional clean up. -Homeowner-Now they are seeking full payment of the other half. I have **** video, our own personal videos and over 50 pictures of the crap they installed. I have even shared these pictures and videos with their salesperson Dan. I will contact their bondsman and whomever else from NYS to make sure that this company does not do this to another homeowner. We stand by our job and it is unfortunate experience. It was installed properly and looks great. It is also being used by the homeowner. As far as work etc, that is mentioned, it is not in the contract, we are more then willing to do the fill etc, but unfortunately is an additional cost. If anything is still outstanding, the home owner should contact us and review with us. We are here, ready, willing, and able to take care of anything that was agreed upon or needs to be corrected. This is an excellent job with a warranty, and the job is deemed complete, the homeowner is using it, and yes we would like to be paid for our work.

      Customer Response

      09/16/2021

The response by this company is laughable and full of lies!!!! The job is not completed. The patio is not beautiful. I have seen a beautiful stamped concrete patio, there is no shine and 2 major lines of discoloration going right through it. How would they know that we are using the patio, are they now trespassing on my property or hanging by a tree? We are using it at minimal because we have no choice. We have a dog that needs to go out. We have supplied pictures of the discoloration from the beginning and the cracking so denying that any of this is incorrect is ridiculous as we have proof with pictures and dates with time stamps. No one has tried to rectify any of the damage. The machines from the mason damaged our new siding. The concrete truck backed into our gutters. The bottom part of the siding where there now are holes is not done accidentally. This damage was caused by incompetent employees of this company drilling into the concrete wall. The last time someone was here to do any type of work was in July, we are now in September and all they say is we want the payment, we ended up cleaning up their mess and garbage because although we paid his mason to remove the garbage, he didn’t remove it all. We ended up filling up the pop out hole and now we have to hire another company to fix their mess. The guy who cleaned the patio also agreed that it was discolored and cracking, their own employee. The salesperson Dan, from the beginning, knows that the pop out for the drain was part of the project. How do you add a patio without a pop out drain, seriously. Dan has attested to say over and over that Luis knew about the pop out. They say it was not part of the project but it was. The stairs that we said we would take care of are the stairs to the back deck that still stands. We have 3 entrances to and from the patio. 2 entrances were supposed to have steps, the 3rd step we were taking care of. Again, Dan and Luis were aware of this and we never had conversations about this with any of them. The damage that was caused to the house was in June and July which gives this company more than enough time to rectify the situation and they have not!! The basketball hoop is still hanging lopsided. They simply won’t fix any damage or rectify the irresponsibility of their mason. As for the mesh, that is a lie that they would deliver mesh to our house for another project. The mesh sat there for 2-3 days after the initial pour. Again, the salesperson Dan states that the mason, Luis, took the mesh and was fired so I am not sure where these lies about the mason having a refresher or discussion are coming from. The salesperson Dan actually came to our home on August 25th, after I was released from the hospital, asking if my husband wanted to drive to a near location on West Bend, where this said mason, Luis, was working to confront him about the crappy job he did and because supposedly he was fired from this company. I thought that was the craziest thing I’ve ever heard and I told Dan who he thought he was coming to my home with this nonsense. No changes about the footers or stairs or any part of the job was discussed with us. The mason, Luis, kept saying he never received a copy of the contract and I then gave Luis a copy of the contract. The worst part about this whole job is that from the beginning they were desperate to get the contract which should’ve been a red flag. They initially came in at over $12,000 for the install and I told Dan, the salesperson, that we were going with a different company because we had a lower bid. Dan insisted that he would talk with the owner, Eric, to see if he could lower the price of the job. On the 26th of May at 11:03am, Dan called and said we will do it for $10,000, which was the lower bid I had. I am sure what happened was they found a sub contractor which happened to be Luis, to do the work fast and charge cheap labor since I was not paying over $12,000 of what they originally wanted. This is not the way to do business. This is unethical and it’s wrong!! On the last visit from Dan, I asked him, can you honestly look at me in my eyes and tell me that you would be ok with this install, looking at the issues here, if this was done at your house, Dan’s initial reply was crickets. I then asked again, would you be ok with this, do you think this is worth $10,000, he says well not really, but it’s a good size. I mean, did I pay for size or did I pay for a stamped concrete patio!! And am I not supposed to use it, after all, I did pay $5,000 as a down payment. My husband and I have now hired another company to finish the job and correctly. Stop spreading lies to cover your mistakes. Remember, I have pictures and videos to prove everything I am saying is true!! I also have voicemail messages and text messages from the mason, Luis, as well. I will see you in court Upstate Increte!!!!
